I always get annoyed after reading these forums after a while..and i dont want to sound too harsh..but..

if you look at Commando..we need HVY WEAPONS XP..not PISTOL XP...and LP is a novice commando only weapon...sorta put two and two together...

but yeah..for 2 months the LP did give pistol xp, the first 2 months after launch..and i believe with melee KD 1 from pistoleer still does too (dont know cuz i gave that up 5 months ago)
