Tonight I was roaming around looking for krayts and finally some popped near the entrance to the graveyard.
Naturally in that area on the weekend there were quite a few people there. So we start to fight these krayts and I am hitting a special every 8 secs (bullsh*t) in my humble opinion when along comes a rifleman (Note there is another master commando a master BH a few master pistoleers and some other profs) so the krayt finally goes down and guess what no perm the one who got the perm was the master rifleman spamming strafe 2 hitting for 3 to 4k per second!!!! how is this just that we have extremely slow specials and riflemans can spam specials every second. so another pops and by this time 2 of my friends have arrived a master CM and master pistoleer. I figure surely with them grouped and poisons healthshots and what not we are sure to get perm. Long story short we fight it dies none of the ooo 15 to 20 people around have perm only the single NON GROUPED rifleman. So I ask can anyone explain this to me what is the deal why are we getting the shaft. I just dont understand how ONE guy can out dmg that man people the others were in a group had creatures the whole 9 if they got perm good for them I would suck it up and just deal but damn 1 rifleman.

Krayts are weird. There's something funky with them. We did a Krayt hunt, about 20-25 people, pets, etc. Nobody got permission to loot or harvest them! Everybody tried but it was no go. (Trusted group. No unknowns.) Since most folks were getting only about 200 XP (I was getting 1400 with my flamer), we finally gave up and went to the nightsisters cave.

thats what the heavy AP in the T21 does. While the pistoleers and other classes have a 50% damage penalty before the resists on the krayts take another slice, the rifleman have no such penalty.
To put it simple, just imagine that the krayt has 0 resists to all damage types. All other classes firing AP1 weapons get 50% damage reduction per AR in the krayt. commando gets twice or triple that penalty because all their non-expendable weapons are ap0 (and since just by using a rifle/pistol/carbine with master marksman specials does give you more damage per second than a single rocket launcher/grenade shot per second it makes using those weapons a waste of time and money and ham). But rifleboy spams more damage per second with higher AP, so yes. That is why ONE rifleman will get the looting rights even if a whole group of other master classes (except tka and swordman) are ganging up on the same target.

Yeah, Rifleman is just disgusting. I can solo Juvenile Krayts, either up close when buffed or at 67m with Concealshot when not buffed. I could never have killed them as a Master Commando. Strafeshot2 is just -obscene- when you have a 723 max damage T21.

yeah...rifleman can only do all that high damage every few seconds at master, and with mind buffs..but that doesnt excuse the fact from them being more commando like than US!
look at our Har for example..its a bit closer in dmg to the T-21, opposed to the FT..and its like a CDEF compared to it...
Take our FT..and thats like a DL44 Pistol compared to it..

Yea Strafe2 with heavy ap is just crazy.
