During the last few days I have been seeing lots of Flamethrowers in PvP and even saw a Commando vs a BH duel. The BH was incapped in one hit to his blue bar bythe commando with his Flamer. I even had first hand experience against a commando in a duel where he used a Heavy Particle Beam Cannon and hit me for 1087 damage 
. I have been surprized by all the Flamers i see that are fighting in PvP and i am wondering if commandos are making a comeback in PvP or if it was just a coincidence.

Coincidence I think.
Lucky, prepared Commando vs. unlucky, ill prepared Bounty Hunter I would think.
It would have to bewith the the 75% damage reduction, even a hit on a naked or armor vulnerable PVP target would drop the damage on a Flamesingle2 attack done with a 1050 damage FT to around 1970 pts before ranged midigation, toughness or anything else is applied. A PVP target with 30% resist armor cuts that same attack down to around690 pts, without midigation, toughness, synthsteak, etc.
