Hello. I was thinking about doing a Master Commando / Master Pistoleer and TKA 0300.

Would Master Commando and Master Pistoleer be a bad mix? I really like pistols and I have become a heavy weapons junky lately.

Any advice?

well, it would make your launcher pistol much much more effective, and it would also give you some pretty good defenses.... so it's not a bad mix, expecially if you really like the LP, and want to take down blast vuln opponents without using HSWs....

atm Novice commando /w Master Pistoleer is a MUCH better combo..maybe even Novice + Flame 4...

As even though you get nice defenses in MP...they're not -that- great...especially when you go into PvP...but the good side, in PvE we'll be up to par with the riflemen AND swordsmen against AT-STs and Turrets...but against non-Blast Vuln stuff, the swordsman and Riflemen will still own us, as we have a lack of AP since the devs think our initial damage power is enough...(meanwhile both professions have damage as WELL as high AP....and they're 92 pt professions...yet we get turned down cuz we'd be overpowered??...ok we may be a bit better in dmg output...hell maybe 2x better with an AP increase...but um..we take nearly twice the SP!!!)

I tested this mix out on TC2 this morning, and i have to say, its pretty pleasing. the combination of a powerful/quick launcher pistol and the specials you gain with master pistoleer really do well for the majority of combat situations i encountered. give it a try.

I was a mcommando and msmuggler for awhile(talk about praying for a revamp) but eventually decided I needed to drop one and keep the other un loved profession, so I chose smuggler.

current temp is msmug, BH 0/0/4/0, pistoleer 0/0/4/1 novice commando(for launcher cert).

i'm pretty happy with it dmg wise, while getting the one shot kill if you get a lucky ham pool target with flame 2 is hawt as hell, using a faster last ditch or even eye shot makes me happier.

I did master comando (on TC2) and it wasn't bad.. it didn't miss that much... then again... neither was the LLC hmm....
