After getting pumped on the SW Battlefront trailer (again)...I made a huge long lengthy post in the GCW forums...which involved some ideas for faction perks...
And as usual it perked up some ideas for us 'mmandos
Obvious....the E-web...
Other obvious...other Faction Portable Turrets...
Not Obvious (well sorta):
- Faction purchased "remotes" that can be used to call in Reinforcements, Airstrikes, etc....for SL: an Advanced Reinforcement call (more troops more firepower, maybe vehicles as well)....for us commandos...Advanced AirStrike....essentially...We buy a remote, we type in the coordinates (via WP coords), click the remote, Unleash Hell Upon thy enemies...some ideas on what makes this advanced: Capital Ship Turbo Lasers, Proton Bombs, Fighter Airstrikes
- Commando Armour...gives us special added mods and such...equipable by commandos-only
- In relation to the commando armour...give other select professions their own types of armour (such as SL leader armour, BH battle armour, Smuggler style armour....all the Hybrids!) Then for everyone else, provide additional suits of armour for different purposes...like Anti-Jedi armour types (LS resists) and the such
- **New Weapon** Alliance NRL Portable Turbo-Laser....Imperial LAR-47 Portable Turbo-laser.....faction schematics, a huge equipable weapon for commandos....mass mayhem...advantages: Heavy as well as Non-disposable....drawbacks: High FP Costs, low condition/uses alot of condition points per shot
Anyone else got further ideas to add to this? Afterall, after JTL the GCW Revamp is around the corner....maybe having a list of perks (for jester) and a list of profession specific perks (for garvin and co) could be drawn up and given to the devs/defended by the correspondants at the summit? ![]()
