Thread: Funnest night is SWG so far

I have been wanting to do the corvette for a while, but never have had the oportunity, well tonight I was going to try, but ran into some problems, and it ended up being the best time I have had in galaxies so far, and made me feel like Spec Ops Commando.
To get the ticket for the corvette I decided to go to dath first, the imperial prison.Well on the way to see the Master Sargent to get the mission, I get searched by the imps. I had quit galaxies right when they firststarted that, and have never been searched. Well they descovered that I am a rebel, I fight my way through and talk with sarge, and head back to the starport.
I procede on to dat, and cruise out on my biketo the prison, as I get close,Storm troopers open fire on me (there is alot of red out there did not realise it was stormies till they opened up) Well on my little cruise out there my buffs had droped. So I cruise of a bit and ask the guy who was going to help me with Corvette what the deal was. He informs me that when the imps searched me it made me overt. I knew at this point corvette was not going to happen tonight, so I figured might as well go out in a blase of glory.
I pop a pixie, get liqured up, eat some food (cant fight on an empty stomach ya know) and go for the nerest stormie, they had just shy of a 10K HAM. well he goes down without too much of a problem, but then I get jumped by a patrol of three, couple flame cone 2's later and a few flame single 2's for good measure the stormies are down and I procede into the base.
I run through the interior wall section and happen on the prison cells first, but one imp has aggroed on me through the wall and follows me, short fight later the 5th imp of theprison assualtdrops. I happen to find the piece I need without too much searching, but at the time was not sure it was what I needed.
So I hope on my bike and cruise around the prison checking for more cell blocks. Finding none I converse with my friend and he confirms I have what I need. Right then I am agrrod bya group of about 6 storm troopers, and my pixe has about 30 seconds left.
I hope on my bike, and zipp off back to the cell blocks praying the patrols dont come to close while waiting for the downer to wear off. After the downer I pop another eat more, drink more and make a break for it.
In the end I sucessfully assaulted the prison and got the ship document back to the Master Sargent. Man what a great night. In the end turned out to be the only one I needed. Got my ticket

Nice! Hehe, trips like that are always a lot of fun... though the last 2 corvette runs I've attempted I've had to make all 3 stops (Doh!) And I haven't succeeded yet, but meh.

Irony is out tonight as well...
On Valcyn with 2 of my guildmates (already had a ticket, and wanted to come with me)...my architect alt, Nitaon Sunrof, went to the corvette to try and loot a power plant. Saved me the time of getting the evidence but they simply wanted to have some fun hehe.
And so on we went to the vette....I for one relived a very very bad loot run with 15+ deaths, mainly with SBD's shooting me thru the walls but thats another story. After having my hams black from trying to get the first loot container near the bridge, I used my guildmates as cannon fodder to get down to the 2nd loot area in the engineering sector. Got past the guard, sorta died due to SBDs (sent my droid in, but they aggroed me instead) ran back and got a Chestplate - died before hitting the droid. So we hit the bridge area loot spawn again, about 5 more deaths...finally all 3 charged in front of me and I used them as a shield. I managed to hit me /open /loot macro right at the perfect time on the loot container. Unfortunately, the SBDs were too quick...all I managed to do was just simply open.
And what did I find? GIGGLEDUST!! Bloody giggledust....
Dismayed, 1 of my mates and I ran back down to the 2nd loot area to hit the defunct astromech...used my guildmate as a shield as I got to the droid...Lo and behold! An Av-21 Power Plant!
I seem to be lucky on my first corvette loot runs....this has been my 4th loot run, but first on Valcyn. My first on Chilastra also netted me a Power Plant - in fact, the very first thing I looted!
And of course, my friend A'nita hated me today....very much...

Says alot about our profession...
