Thread: FS Commando?? possable??

A while back someone ingame told me that Jedi were not the only FS toons that could be unlocked... is this true? and is a FS commando possable? I only ask cos everyone seems to be going crazy over the new jedi system... and i was just wondering if they will all be just jedi... or could they be something more? also how would the next system effect it?
If anyone knows anything thx alot

a FS commando means someone who is a commando and also uses FS skills (enhanced reflexes, combat prowess etc.)... you don't "unlock" a FS commando, you unlock the FS skills.....

So that means... you can be one inbetween becoming a jedi??? ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh man
No wonder everyone wants to be jedi... no other "super"(uper) proff to unlock... everyone is aiming for jedi... but if there was a few other FS or if not FS very powerful (on a par with jedi) proff we can unlock instead... like i'll like to see a "Rambo" commando (lol) as in this guy can take on groups of enemys and not get laughed at out of town.
Or how about you can become a NS (females) or a Tusken Prince (male) or join the BS order (that could be cool cos if you see anyone attacking NCP BS they can be tef'd to you
I mean i'd be happy to try something that as on a par (or at least balanced right) with jedi... but give a option to be something else.. i mean being a NS or BS makes sense... there are many of them... but not many jedi (films) i just think the choice would help

Exactly...On TC2 I had a Commando with 2 trees unlocked...The ones with +20 Melee Def and +20 Ranged Defense (+5 per box)...each box only costs 1 skill point...so even after Master Commando and TKM I had plenty of skill points left for a few trees...
The way it works is that any profession can become FS...the boxes cost 1 skill point each...but if you want to become a full Jedi you have to begin a heavier investment and eventually drop all prior skills for only Jedi (a 250 skill point investment)...It's the sacrifice a Jedi must make to follow that path...

Yeah. When that old man shows up, I am going to get the speed bonuses and defences commando lacks by getting FS skills

So bascly what your saying guys is that a FS commando is possable as it were... but could never match a full jedi?
So what of my idea of opening other uber proffs instead of jedi? Anypoint talking about it... or something that wouldn't ever happen?
Thx for all the info btw.... the FS commando as it is sounds so good (at this point in time, with how commando is at the mo) i may try and unlock just for that... altho common sense kicks in after a few seconds with "You crazy?? with the new system... and all the old grinders... and the new ones (lol)... you think you can unlock by the time CR comes??? hahaha"
But i come back with... "Yes it's takes years for CR yet... I'll unlock by then"

problem is that it doesnt apply to heavy weapons again we get the shaft. the defences work but yo ucan get skill tapes in a set of armor for this amount. IF they doubled it would be better liek instead of only +5 per block it was +10 or in spd and accuracy +6 per not +3.
