I have been a swg player since launch. My first character was a wookie, I immediately drooled over the thought of being a wookie Master Commando. I still have him now, but he languishes on the desolate Kettemoor server. I play him the most since the CU because I feel Commando has the most potential to be the most fun of all professions, including Jedi. So I want to "master" master commando so that when it works properly I have a leg up on all the fotm crowd and am way ahead, if not clear of the learning curve.
I have to say though that this professions forum is by far the best that I have ever read. I have mastered every profession with the exception of ID and a couple elite crafters. And I currently keep tabs on my other toons' forums; BH, rifleman, pistoleer, carbineer, pikeman, swordsman, TKA.
This one simply is the best.
The overall maturity level is much higher, the sarcasm and flames rarely cross the line. The information seems to get dispensed much more efficiently (even though we are quite frequently left in the dark about our needed fixes for the last 2 yrs) and the correspondant is frank and i have not seen him lose his level-headedness, despite getting far more shaft than several other professions.
I am required to spend far less time looking thru this board for an answer than when i search thru other boards. A real comment on the quality of the Commando forum. Keep up the good work.
Dunno why I felt compelled to post this but I guess everyone can use a horn-tooting once in a while. (that really came out wrong).
