Would Combat Medic be a good choilce to go with Master Commando?

I was a tk/commando before cu. I dropped commando only once during that time and it was for cm/rifle, because rifle and mind poison seemed to be the best combo. (No, I wasn't a pvper I just hated crafting and mind poison was most readily available to buy) Long story short, I hate rifle. I loved cm, always wanted to go back, but until cu master commando/master cm wasn't possible. Now it is, and that's what I am. My guildmates love to hate me. On the one hand, I'm an awesome CU combat medic. I keep the group healed, lower enemy's attack speed with thyroid rupture, and double dot with poison/deuterium, and I can rez. On the other hand, with commando as jacked up as it is I can't really do the damage I could with commando pre-cu. I usually end up getting frustrated at commando's built in no-damage 6m cone effect and switching to my Alliance Disruptor Pistol (lvl 54 + Master CM certed, mine's named Imperial Toxin Injector Pistol because I'm an Imp Colonel.) Using this and my one line of pistoleer or smuggler I've dabbled in I can fire pretty fast with a default attack set and concentrate on healing. Until they fix AoE damage or up commando damage period I can't comment on its effectiveness. But I love the cm part, and when commando works the way it should someday the combination should be pretty good. The rocket launcher is one of the best ranged attacks for kd'ing targets. If there's any typos in here I'll correct them tomorrow because I'm still stunned from Episode 3...I won't spoil it for anyone but it PWNED ALL EVERYTHING like a pre-cu Commando with a krayt flamethrower and cone 2.
