Have you noticed that because Mustafar is a hot volcanic planet. Theres lots of fire resistance and fire damage reduction loot out there.
This in effect will render our fire DoT useless. I mean, everyone should fear the commando fire DoT (and the combat medic's). But now they'll just brush it aside, due to the fire damage mitigating loot.
So now we will end up with high SAC average damage, and little else. Was commando supposed to be a 5 for damage in the CU docs?

Don't jump to any conclusions just yet on this subject. Mustafar is also covered in laval pools and has environmental based damage you can take just for being in the wrong place. The heat mitigating items very likely have much more to do with this than they do with DOT's. Let's see what the in game situation looks like before going nuts.

Theres a good chance these items will be broken for the next six months as well. Don't know if they work or not however.

No they are Fire Resestant items, not lava.
The only way you get lava res is by getting on a Lva Flea, Desert Skiff or a Lava Skiff.
However along with the Fire-Res items there is the Armor Break res item
