Hey Guys,
I'm looking at changing my alt to this template for base defense, base takedowns, and NPC Bounty Hunting. I've never done commando so I'm looking for input. How well does underhand and critical shot work using an AoE weapon.

Underhand shot and critical shot work great with AOE weapons (especially now AOE is fixed with splash damage). My template is very similar, but I am Smuggler 0-0-4-0. Having Feign Death, state recoveries, and the extra defenses in that tier of smuggler are excellent for PVE. Feign death is great for getting through dungeons and surviving tough fights. I can make it through high lvl NPC areas quite easily with it. I use body shot and critical shot for damage, which is plenty I think...

Up til like3 weeks ago, i had the same template you are looking at. It worked great with AoE and critical hit. only downside to it was a severe dependancy on Ruby/Stims since that was all the healing i had. I switched to pistoleer for a while now, but now that i see things are starting to come around our way *crosses fingers*, Im in the process of regrinding commando for the 3rd time now.
