By now you've likely heard the rumors, and I'm here to confirm it: I have returned. Over the past year, I have kept in constant communication with Phoenix Squadron, though restrained in the recent Imperial Blockade of the Cascaras system worlds. The blockade was at the illest of times, and I'm afraid my best was not enough to get me out of that predicament.
But in recent events, following the bombardments of worlds such as Malastare, Hortt, and Figan III, I was arrested under Imperial Authority along with a fellow Alliance Agent with whom I'd been traveling. On board the Aaoganor, I sware I've seen it all. I've got stories to tell of war on Malastare, and of my interesting encounter with Imperial Phoenix infultrator Nikolai Xavierov but those stories will have to wait for another time.
This communication is more than an announcement of my return. It is an announcement of rebirth for the glorious Phoenixes. As is the nature of our squadron, we are reborn from the ashes to which we once died. It has happened before and so it is the way of things. But I'm here to tell you now, we are once again rising strong!
Cadets are again in training, and Phoenixes are earning their wings. Phoenix Squadronn has been again given the go ahead to resume its activities following the reajustment of responsibility and the assembling of order. With this rebirth comes change, however.

As Phoenixes, you earn a hard earned responsibility; not just to follow orders, or to idolly await the next mission before you, but to take action with power of your own. Every member of the squadron is equally important from the lowest decks of rank to the very head of command. Every one has their role, their function. And when working in tandem we become one of the most dangerous forces in the galaxy! Part of this new way, is the new privledge among graduated Phoenixes...the ability to seek out potential canidates for the squadron, and sponser such potential into the squadron outright. Pending further interview, such canidates will be accepted or rejected based souly on the agreement of the squadron members.
Further, from this day forward every Phoenix will have a say in the cadet training process. It will be a responsibility of a graduated pilot or groundsman to not only serve as role model, but as teacher. This process will make it easier to move cadets on to Phoenixhood, and will make it less dependent upon one leader to arrive and carry all the fun for themselves.
We have arrived upon a new age for the Phoenixes, LET IT BE ONE TO REMEMBER!!!!

After the Battle of Yavin the Rebel Alliance lost most if not all of it's X-Wing fighter craft and was severely debilitated in that regard (albeit winning the battle). Following this the development from Sienar the TIE Interceptor was created to combat the incredible effectiveness of the X-Wing fighter craft in combat. The existence of the TIE Interceptor now extremely outmatched the initial X-Wing variant. Incom responded by developing a new X-Wing variant the T-65C A2. This ship in years to come was to be the mainstay of the Rebel fleet.
With the Alliance falling into disarray and entering these dark times, Rebel Command has grown increasingly desperate to truly unite and make a stand against the Treacherous Empire. With the increasing devastation of orbital forces within the fleet from growing imperial efficiency and espionage within the alliance, Command decided in unison to truly fight back against the dark devastation by assembling the finest fighter pilots and leaders under the Alliance loyalty together within one single and brilliant fighter group against the Empire, to hit it hardest where it has to be hit, and to strike fear in the eyes of the Empire around the galaxy. The hopes and dreams of the Rebellion are heavily relying on Phoenix Squadron, and the eyes of the galaxy are upon you now.
(( Phoenix Squadron is a STARSIDER Rebel military (fighter pilot) squadron. We are an RP guild, and we are currently interviewing pilots, engineers, medical personnel, or anyone else who may be able to contribute to the atmosphere of our guild. We have also recently opened up opportunity for those who are strictly ground combatents to join our ground forces in the Talon.
While we are centered on RP and piloting, you are not required to be an expert at either. You will not be asked to drop everything and grind the pilot tree, nor will you be judged for wanting to chat OOC occasionally. We have joined together to help promote good RP on the server, to help each other out in space and on the ground, and to give a more "starwarsy" feel to the game.
We are naturally looking for shipwrights and pilots (although space is limited on the flight crew) but are also hoping to find other crafters, entertainers, scouts, surveyors, even people with no clear profession choice, who may have a knack for event planning, or just plain like the idea of RPing in a military unit. If you pass the interview process, we can find a home for you.

Its Official, the squadron due to compromises in security, has uprooted and planted its grip in a new secure base. I will not reveal anything of detail, but I can tell you its 'awesome'. Simply, and purely AWESOME. If your a pilot, and you have been looking for military roleplaying that definately feels alot more like star wars, Phoenix Squadron is definately for you. We still have open positions among the Phoenixes, and we're always on the look out for good pilots, good roleplayers, and those willing to become both!

Although a flyboy to the soul, I must say that Phoenix Squadron is more than just a military roleplaying division for pilots. For itis also divided seemlessly with its speacialized intra-squadron armed forces, The Talon, whom make the entire association far morestronger from all spectrum of angles. I would like to take a moment to stress what an awesome structure we have set up for this unit within the squadron.
As Noed, Noted, the Pilots are far from the only ones who get all the attention in this squadron.If you find you're definately interested in the structure of this guild,but are not asspace-oriented, then you should be relieved to know that our squadronstillaccomidates to your talent. If you are a profficient soldier of war, an experianced veteran of battle,or are in training to hold your own against the best, you may definately have a life within the Talon.
As a Talon,it will be yourhonoredduty toserve as both the planetary offensive and defensive blade that will serve to protect the survival of the Phoenixes, and to work hand in hand with the pilots of the phoenixes to bring success to the suicidal undertakings in store. The great thing about PHXSN, is that we don't focus on just one repetetive aspect of the game, we ensure that we approach the game from all different perspectives, to make every adventure a new one, and one worth fighting for.
A formal post explaining the 'awesome-ness' of the Talons is headed your way soon, as the head of our intra-squadron ground forces, Lieutenant Ayiana, is amassing a presentation as we speak. To sum everything that I've seen, Talon is growing, and its members are some of the best that you can find. So if you're a rebel roleplayer, and you're hungry for some true military roleplaying, join in on the adventure now!
