Just wanted to drop a line, as I've been *super* busy in real life (last week and this upcoming week), that I haven't had as much time as I would have liked to bring all the stickies up to date, write out a new state of the profession, and get more components of the guide online. Some of you might have noticed that my amount of posting has taken a plunge lately, as Im more and more surfing for a little while and reading rather than replying. However, I still am full-time on the correspondent boards as I usually am (so Im hopefully not missing anything).
Most likely after Nov 5th I'll be able to "be back" with full intensity.
For now, a small update on current Corro matters:
Still no word with our specials, I've pushed the envelope a few days ago and am pushing it again tonight.
Im getting a bit worried with the finding of another advanced loot-only level of one of our weapons. I have a bad feeling that more will be found and will likewise be loot-only. Now, since they're pretty dang powerful, some of you might think that it's a good thing that we're getting some really damaging weapons...you're right to a degree, however it seems for useful master weapons, our profession is increasingly being forced to rely on looted weapons.
We're the only profession in the game that relies so much on how our weapons function, and will likewise be the only one that will be reliant on loot-only. I believe this restricts us to a degree (forcing us to either pay millions for master-level weaponry or forcing us to pay for mustufar...tell me, does any other profession pay that much for their special abilities?), but it also hurts the weaponsmiths as well. I've brought this up to the devs yesterday.

I am hoping that someone finds out that schematic-created weapons from Mustafar are sliceable, and aren't as hard to craft as they seem to be.

The only problem however is that only two of our new master level weapons will have schematics...the lava cannon and heavy republic flamer. That is, if the dev's were correct in that all new model weaponry will have schematics. If that's true, then the new master level weaponry (that master level rocket launcher and ASL) won't have schematics, as they use old weapon models.

Fix the specials. Then they will be worth the $30 or the millions to buy them. But please fix the specials first.
And a wider cone would be nice for at least one weapon.
