Commando Archive

I know composite is the #1 armor for commandos. However while I await my local armorsmith to gather his supplies for a quality set I'd like to know what I could be using. What is the runner up to composite for our profession? I just need something to keep me warm until the composite suit is crafted.

Personally, I started out with a decent composite suit, but I recently started working toward TKM, so I picked up a suit of 70% kinetic Ubese, and I actuallylike it much better than the composite. Of course, I don't PvP at all, so if you are mainly a PvE player, I would actually suggest high kinetic resist Ubese over composite.

I would probably try to get some 70%+ kinetic armor. Then you can take hits from creatures really well. Just dont PVP in it much. Should last you until the composite is made. Alot cheaper too!

Good ubase is great for PvE. I always use my comp for PvP though.

I'd say a good Ubese for PvE Melee combat. Use a Composite when enountering PvE Blaster wielders. Haven't done so much PvP so I won't say anything about that.

Ubese is ok on kinetic, but that's it.

I use composite with 80% kinetic and 63% to all rest. With a good encumb slice..it's fantastic.
