I have been reading these boards for a while now and the first thing that I would like to say is thank you to everyone that has posted tips and combos on how touse our weapons more effectively.

I am posting now because I am just curious. How many of you are using the HPBC to open combat from 45m instead of running up and using flame specials?

I read about this here a while back and just had to try it out. Well I love it! I miss a bit here and there. But when I hit it is worth it. Here is what I have been doing.

Hit with the HPBC, switch to Flamethrower. Lay on Flame1 and Cone1, by this time if everything goes well I now have the mob near death. The top for me (Since I do not wear armor) is that bydoing this I buff less and do not need as much healing as normal. The money balances good also cause I spend less on the HPBC than I do buffs and med attention.

I used the HPBC to break the camp so to speak while heading towards Master. If there was a larger version hanging around the camp, a bull tortur for instance, I would HPBC that guy and then pick off the restof the camp up close.

Speaking of heavy weapons, I recently picked up my first rocket launcher from about the only weaponsmith that makes them on Tempest (45k for 32 shots, ouch!!!!) and used it for the first time....heh heh, I'm in love. Too bad the price makes the lovin' few and far between though
