well thereare manyways to look at it, i personally like this one,.......

These people out there destroying thier character over and ovr in search of the enlightenment more than likely wont be player too much longer. these people are usually the ones that will get bored at doing any one thing for too long anyway, so i say let them have their fun and let them move on to that new game they find that will launch in a perfect bug free state(yeah right).

I started my character to be a Loner BH however i saw people having a lot of fun that i wasn't so i tried out some other professions (13 novices so far) in my journey to my new love of Master Commando and i didnt do it chasing holocrons.

now i get this little blue cube for christmas eve eve and open it and it tells me "Master Musician" and my instant thoughts were "I'm no instrument playing monkey, I'm a Bad @$$ killer and there is no way I'm going to destroy what ive worked so long to get. Then i get another Blue Cube for christmas eve and I think it looks great sitting on my table in my office as head of security for my guild in my guilds city.

I'mcurrently 3/4/4/2 Commando on Farstar , my Xmas holo told me to master Bounty Hunter. Suppose it could have been worse.

I'll finish Commando up and then go BH - sad really, I love being commando but may as well persue my FSS.

well to be fair, you unlock the FSC slot, not a jedi slot. IF you make jedi and he dies..you STILL retain your FSC slot. SOO this means you can just create another character and have at it again. However, this being said holos are putting a new spin on the game. Most people are now doing what the mighty holo says (including me) instead of doing what they want. I just dont think it is as bad as some feel. There are those out there that just dont want to pursue the FSC slot and thats cool. The way I see it is when a person unlocks FSC and makes that character they will make that one the way they want and have some good fun. It will all work out in the end I think.

Does anyone else think holocrons have seriously hindered this game? I mean first everyone was crying about who gets to loot the npcs when you do missions. Then we all get one of the **edit** things for christmas and everyone wants to buy it. Now everyones dropping their skills trying to master some worthless skill and crying the whole way through. I sold my holocron to some fool who didn't realize that something every person on the server has isn't even close to worth a million credits. It's almost a scar to the game that no one plays the character they intended to. They're just trying to get that FSS so they can play it until that one day they lag out and lose it all. I mean think about it, how many of your deaths are due to lag? That happens with this Jedi and he's gone forever. I sold my holocron before people drove the price of them down, and before I looked into the thing and became a lemming just like everyone else. Driven by the need to get something that we don't quite understand.
