Well, I get my protons really cheap (awesome weaponsmith I know) I know they are only AP1 whereas Thermals are AP2, however Giant Baz Nitches have 25% resist to blast damage which Thermals are, they have no resist to Protons, I did some shoddy calculations and found out that the protons would be better by like 300 if both grenades started off doing only 1000 dmg.

So protons win
