Why not just let everybody choose thier side. Then you can also have the added fun of clan wars as well.

I honestly don't understand die hard faction alignment. Well, in Ryu's case, I do but that's just cause he's got a roll to play with a certain character. That's cool. This is an entirely new server though and an entirely new group of people. What difference does it make whether we're imp or rebel? It's just a game and we're doing this for the fun not because being rebel or imp makes a bit of difference in life...
Of those who who have a factional preference, most want to be rebel. Those who don't, why don't you follow Ryu's example and make a toon which can be rebel if it's a role play concern or suck it up and join the fun if roleplay isn't a concern? It would be the brotherly thing to do.

I agree with Raanan completely. Sticking together as Commandos is way more important than sticking to a faction.
