Because then you will depend on others to heal your pets. Most people like a fair amount of self substainablity. With healing it makes you more effecient overall.

Also someone said that they can use stim D's with +30 Med Use. Is +30 your total Med use or is that adding to another total you have? 30 med use will only let you use a good stim C pack. Some stim Cs take even more then that (lower quality packs).

I think a fun thing to do when a kid asks why its
raining is to tell them god is crying..and then when
they ask why to tell them its something they did.

Well most high level creature handlers don't even bother to heal pets. They just rotate them and let damaged pets heal in the datapad. When you have a datapad with 4 or more 10k HAM creatures, you need never worry about healing.

If you are a low level CH like me (1,1,0,0) then it becomes a little harder to rotate pets, but it is still possible.(I use a Grand Wrix and a Greater Sludge Panther)

Also, you don't need novice medic to heal a pet if you use BE pet stims.

This is what I finnaly decided on

Master Commando

Novice Smuggler (KD and some Other good pistol skills...who dosnt want feign death)

Dirty Fighting 4

Novice Medic (Stims and I had a few points left)

Diag 1

Pharm 1

Novice Scout (Got to love moving fast)

Exploration 3

Novice TKA (Some defence to stun KD and meditate to take care of bleeds -n- poision)

Ballance Conditioning 3

Not sure how well meditation works but I'm told it works pretty well.

The reason is the power of pets available to you at 4,4,0,0aren'tgreaterthan 1,1,0,0pets enough to justify the skill points. Let's see... with 4/4 you can use a pet that has around 10k HAMor at 1/1 you can use a pet that has 8k HAM (Greater Sludge Panther). The slightly greater damage that pets do at 4/4 is trivial compared the damage we commandos do.

All commandos are really looking foris a better tank thanthose that are available to non-CHs.

Ever hear of a graul mauler? that 10k ham pet has armor 1 and 60% resists to everything...they can take 6x the beating a GSP can take and do a lot more damage and that is a pet you can use at 3,2,0,0...and dont even ask about a the CH 4,4,0,0 pets that are even better than a graul mauler.

I had planned on mastering scout as well as commando, well that doesn't seem usefull in the least, so I"ll drop my scout skills so that all I have is explore 3...then I'll get Teras Kasi and go up 3 trees there, meditation, power, and precision...this way I'll get some deffence mods and a viable alternitive to useing heavt weps all the time (which if I'm grouped tends to steal a lot of the XP)....now if I can ever live with no scout skills I may just go out and master Teras Kasi so I can get unarmed hit 3 (which I hear is simply amazing)

How much of a beating does it have to take? Obviously some higher level pets can tank better than a GSP, but I've never had my GSP incapped either. I'll save my skill points, thanks.

hunting on endor or dath will get your GSP killed real fast. Your GSP will be hit by a gurreck for near 400 where a graul mauler will get hit for around 70!

Well worth the skill points if you like to hunt the hard stuff
