You're not the only one. at the moment I'm chechking out EQ2, Maxtrix ONline even WOW to see where I might end up taking my gaming if something does change very soon. I believe most of these games are coming out next month. It all comes down to what will TH say. Will he say look here are the general items per proffession we are looking to implement. Here is the tmieframe we are currently looking at. Here is what's going to keep you here at SWG.

Will TH say the usual. Vagities no timeframes. Tell us they have decided not to post the now "infamous" combat docs because they will create more questions then answers. Tell us they are revamping everything and how much we'll love it and spend a page or two writing words of praise and hope but in the end not say a single thing.

My figure they have two three weeks at the most and most of these upcoming games will be on the market. I just don't think the more of the same from SOE is going to cut it this time, it may ave held us here when there really wasn't much else to play but man some of these are looking awful nice.

Its now Thursday and no post about the post about the docs that were suppose to come out nearly 3 months ago. Any new news other than "soon." I think soon ran out a long time ago don't you think?

So JTL is out, that excuse is now gone whats the next going to be? Are they now going to wait till after the release of EQ2 so that two SOE titles don't compete for marketing ears?

Open account for Guild Wars starts tomorrow and givesArenanet a chance to get people interested. EQ2 release what the 8th of November. WoW is not far behind. By the time the average player gets any feel for what the new look combat will be out Matrix Online will probably be on the shelf as well. I can't afford subscriptions to multiple games. I have stayed with this game as long as I have because its Starwars but man if SOE cares so little if we stay or go as to not even feel it worth their time to make a post...... I don't know that the Starwars logo will continue to hold me here.Show me something SOE, JTL is a nice addition but it truly plays like a separate game and don't forget we had to pay for it it wasn't free or anything. What about the ground game I bought and have been paying for months, when will it be fixed SOE, when can a commando walk out into battle and actually use his commando to fight and have a chance at winning in PVP? When will PVP contain more than Jedi gang squads and melee stackers? When will the title of the game be the priority rather than Jedi or will SOE simply rename the game Jedi Wars or The Battle for the New Jedi Order.

I'm so frustarted and each day that passes this upgrade must be that much better. I mean its going to have to be knock your socks off at this point. Just nice or neat or different won't cut it after waiting a year. There better be some awesome intergration and usefullness for the various proffessions after so long of a communication snub. I think they have a bout a week in my opionion to get something out that tells us why we should stay and something very detailed not just a soon or that will be answered in teh upgrade post. In a week the cancels of accounts will start to incredibly increase due to the release of EQ2 and then maginfy as each other MMoRPG is released. They have played around with uslong enough its time to be straight with us.

What are the plans and timline for the upgrade?

What are proffession specific changes that will be made?

What will be done to make Commando or BH or TKA or any other porffession just as attractive and end game as Jedi or will Jedi still be the end game SOE?

They better get stuff in gear with EQ2 comin out as well many others in the next few monthes they better give us some real answers and not the normal just wait and see crap they have been feeding us for a year.

So another words still nothing. Anyway I guess they just openy believe what Haden Blackman said awhile back that only the people on the forums are upset and that everyone in the game are perfectly happy with the condition of the game. I hope for their sake they are right but I guess we'll see.

i'll be willing to bet that this BIG statement from TH will just be him talking about how they are going to be working on combat and how we will all be happy with the changes. There will be no combat docs or anything that will tell us anything other than to wait. And quite frankly I'm alittle tried of TH BS and false promises.

Let's not be vague. Thunderheart is the worst PR person I've ever seen. If there's someone pulling his strings, it should be transparent to the customer. As such, he speaks in first person, so I'm entitled to believe his thoughts and words are his own.

Everything I've read from him scream "charlatan", "flim flam man", etc. The man has no credibililty. Credibility is like a bank. You can't always make withdrawals, never deposit, and hope to keep it all. He is the point man for SOE, and look at the joy in rumours of LA taking over. If you're going to deal in lipservice and doubletalk, you should at least be good at it.

Tiggs at least looks like she's listening. Kudos to her, and it shows on the boards. If they truly want to fix this game, they must stop looking so bush league and hire a real PR group that can at the very least fool the slobbering masses that they care.

I do enjoy the game itself, but my enthusiasm is continually eroded by the buffoonery that exists here.

EX Combat Upgrade Sandbox Alpha Phase: Commando Team

What news? If he isn't going to post timeframes or details of what the changes are going to be then its nothing. We are already now that they say they are working on upgrade next. We don't need to have a bunch of words to tell us that we need a post that gives us some idea when it will be live, we need a post that gives us some idea of what changes are coming. Otherwise its just more of the same a bunch of words that in the end say nothing and just frustrate everyone that much more with the insulting silence. Favorite pizza toppings, "Tigg's Toon" and you're going to love it .... soon ....... does not constitute communication it constitutes spitting in our faces IMHO.

TH's announcement "if it comes" better be more then

" We are about to start the Sandbox testing with the correspondents and their chosen profession representaives. We want to make this a quality upgrade to the game and so we will be taking our time to get it right. Thank you for you patiance. "

That is not a satisfactory announcement. I understand that they are not going to release any of the doc's this week. But they need to start letting regular players in on thier plan.
