Feix, from what I have found every profession is broken. You go into a forum or you talk to someone and they say, don't do it cause its broke. I don't plan on going anywhere else in my professions for quite awhile. and if you read the rest of my post. I can not go into major cities where from what I have learned Bounty Hunters have to go... so I can not go up bounty hunter at all...


how do I close this thread?

I know you wanted this closed, but I would put in my two cents. If you are having computer troubles in cities, then BH terminals are probably not for you. However, there are player cities that have them I believe. You could still do it if you want to. The problem with BH is that if you dont have a lot of time to play then the investigation line will be horrible.


Please pass the soap box... Thank you. Now then about professions being broken. You are correct that many professions have issues, however I would venture to say that we are top 3. I wont go into any of the specifics, but will justify that statement with only one sentence. We have 1 working tree where a 0040 commando's abilities are just as good as a master's. I dont know any other profession that can say that.

ster, I made an oopsey-I forgot to add from teh people in those professions I keep being told their broken. and you are right I don't think there are any other professions where you can have such a big non-difference between 0-0-4-0 and master.


I watched bounty hunter for awhile and realized that unless you can get into major cities it isn't worth it cause there are times you have to travel into a city for a mission or jedi hunting, even though you can get missions out of player cities-I did one mission I ended up having to go to Coronet-a city I stay away from so much I can't even go into the starport when I travel from our guild hall on Tat to Dathomir.

hello all


Just made commando yesterday!!


Iam master pistol too, with scout 4-0-4-0.


A couple of questions for you.


1) what, if any, specials from marksman work with flame besides suppresion fire?

2) what do I need to slice a term at a base, and which term can I slice?

3) any suggestions where to go from here?

Welcome to commando, hope you enjoy it.

1) All specials from the novice and master box, as well as the ranged support line should work. If they work well is another matter entirely. Personally, I never use them.
2) You need Heavy Support Weapons 1 to assist in taking down faction bases.
3) You probably want some defenses as the commando profession in itself doesn't have many. You can pick up TK or fencer for melee/ranged defense, and pistoleer for good knockdown defenses.

My Template is currently Master Commando, TKA 0-0-0-4 and LLC 4 from the BH tree (tomorrow) that leaves enough for 3 boxes, dunno what i'll do with them, it's either novice pistoler and 1 box, or smuggler and feign death, or investigation 3 to let jedi kill me

Mine's going to be Master Commando, Carbineer 0/0/3/0 and Bounty Hunter 0/3/0/4







The NGE is a decent start. Now lets bring the rest of the worlds up to par with Tatooine and Mustafar

Be sure to watch that video posted, that exactly how its going to be util you make */*/4/* and get your hands on a juicy speed liced krayted flamer. After that it gets as good as it can get.

Flamethrowers have an excellent pointblank to-hit modifier, and Marksman gives you a couple pointblank attacks. The area one is an excellent way to gain Heavy Weapons experience with a flamethrower, even with only Novice Commando.
