I too have hit the Colonel limit on Rebel promotions.


I did switch to overt to see if this changed anything, but nada


Maybe they're saving higher ranks for something else.

Why do people refer to that strat guide as if it had ANYTHING correct?


Anyway the only way to tell what your rank is, is by talking to the recruiter. He will say your rank when he greets you. It boosts your FP cap. That is all. Granted since most faction stuff can be bought without being the max rank, it seems pointless.

Actually I'm a Master Smuggler so I get a nice big discount, so maybe you do need max rank for some stuff hehe.

okay Tefelhunden...concerning MarineCorp rank structure...you must be a winger...but hey no prob I was a winger also...MALS-13 Yuma AZ for four years...after Gunny does come master SGT, then Master Guny.


But if you are a grunt...well it's Gunny, First SGT, then SGT Major...

Now for the rest of you SWG fans concerning rank...yeah there is a bug with the Staff CPL and Staff SGT...they got em backwards...but ohwell...our own military, with the exception of Canada, gets it mixed up in RL with the General ranks...Brigadier, Major, LT, and the just General, while the rest of the ranks LT comes before Major...so no biggee...


As far as seeing the rank and such...when you buy uniforms from the recruiters, in the near future they are suppose to be implementing a patch that has your current rank on the uni's...so you will see it then when you wear them...other than that...I don't know what to tell you...when is the patch coming...i don't know...but i heard it's soon...so be expecting it when SWG2 comes out (and I don't mean the expansion).

go to a faction recruiter and talk to them they should say "hello corprel, what can I do for you?"

yes they can get 1st lieutenant as well as second leiuteneat they r 11th and 12th on the rebel and Imp rank list in the stratedgy guide

As far as I know, Colonel is *the* highest rank that a PC can achieve. This may change in a later patch, but right now, this is as high as it gets.

Does anyone know if say your city is rank 1, abut to be rank 2, but has enough citizens declared for rank 3. will the next city update make the city rank 2 or 3?


or do you have to go one rank at a time =/
