I believe they're the ones with 3 numbers in their names. Normal troopers have names like TK-512, Dark Troopers are RXZ-857. (I think, correct me if I'm wrong.)

Yeah, you're right. Three letters in the name is a DT (or at least those are the ones that drop holos, I've heard people say that maybe they're not actually dark troopers). Whatever they are, three letters in name = holocron drop.

Can anyone confirm whether or not the #2 mission from the Reb factioned Jedi cave on Dantooine spawns real "Dark Troopers" and if these Dark Troopers are the ones which can drop holocrons? Thx.

The troopers have black/dark armor and i believe elite higher up stormtroopers.. but they arent the "dark" troopers with 3 letters starting for their names. Whether they drop holocrons or not, there is no evidence so far to confirm it.

Anyone know where i can find some Dark troopers?

POI on naboo - weapons facility. they arent labeled ooki wootaboo(a dark trooper) their names are like storm trooper names, and they look like giants in improved storm trooper armor.

Near Coronet also if you take missions from the NPC in the Coronet guild hall i think.

a favorite spot of dt hunters seems to be the emporer's retreat which is close to moenia on naboo

This has absolutely nothing to do with the Commando profession.

Please post questions in the appropriate forum or do a simple search to find your answer.

you can find them in any imperial factional base (locations are in manual).
