As a casual gamer, I hit novice in January, and mastered in April or May... I AM HERE TO STAY! (as commando, that is)

Gareth Drazor - I started shortly after launch and went straight for commando. Don't recall exactly when I got master, but I've never given it up.
I'll go back to my lurking now.

Wait... I was supposed to be reading those?! 
To be honest, I am going to wait until the Sandbox for CB comes out, and sink my teeth into that. The current ideas while great, may not fit into the post-CB version of SWG, so I want to see where that leaves the professions standing. Yes I just said professions... plurally, I have been playing a LOT of the profs in SWG lately, and have gotten a good feel on the overall of Combat in SWG.

Another old Commando since last year.
Waiting for Publish 10 or JTL. Can't wait to be a FS Commando. Hopefully that should really change the accuracy for the better.
No real side profession. Dabble in Carbineer for some self punishment to make my avatar's combat profile more like a real commando.

I'm a master and planning to stay that way. My other profession I am working on is rifleman since I like shooting a rifle So despite combat rebalance lowering the Rifleman a bit I'll probably keep it awhile.

I have been a Commando for a long time, since the days we had had flamethrowers with a max dmg of 200 lol, never dropped it. I hope we get some major help in the CB.

i haven't been a commando long i was just trying out diff proffst osee what i like and KABOOOOM i found it love the launcer pistol may not do alot of damage but KABOOOOM KABOOOM KABOOOOM goes perfect with the music i play in the background

started the game on bria about a year ago, mastered marksmen with the idea of becoming a bountyhunter then got annihalated by a rebel commando one night and changed my mind. ive had a few months break but just mastered commando, love the range of weapons available and cant wait to see if the devs fix some of the problems in the career. theirs nothing so fun as seeing my tkm mate thrash away at something for a few minutes while i run round killing everything else in sight

Been a MC for six months. It was the first elite profession I mastered and I'm not going anywhere soon, if ever.
