OK, I just tested the fire blanket with a master doctor and a master commando. It takes 26 rori fungus, 44 aluminium, 2 BEC's from a crate, and 2 synthetic cloths from a crate. It requires Docotor Expert Wound Treatment Speed (a level 3 skill; see screen shot below of the finished product). It uses about 230-240 mind per application, and can be applied on ones self and to others. One application is sufficient to put out a flame 2 burn. My personal opinion is that this is reasonbably balanced, given the skill and mind cost.

Not to mention med use of 67 on that one. So bare minimum you'll have to be 3/0/2/0 Doc to use a fire blanket. Not sure if that can be experimented down for lower med uses yet though.

Just so it isn't confused... that one is unexperimented in med use.
It also was used 11 times, so its original number of uses is about 49 with decent resources.
I never missed with this one... but it has a high enough mind cost so that it can't be spammed.
[Edit] The Flame Suppression Blanket schematic is in Doctor crafting 4.

If the new tenloss dxr-6 acid rifle is armour piercing, then surely a HEAVY acid rifle must have the same AP if not more?
The Tenloss is a DISRUPTOR rifle, the devs simply gave it acid damage because thats a damage type the majority of PvE enemies are weak against. The Tenloss disruptor actually shoots a charged energy beam that distabilizes molecules causing the target to tear apart molecule by molecule. If you had a heavy disruptor rifle then yes it would need to have armor peircing capabilities.

Hah....Grenadier for grenades filnally. That's good....gonna really confuse people though since they'll still be thinking that means flamethrower. I like Shock Trooper though; sounds pretty neat.

TY again. I agree that is a good way of doing it, high mind cost and doctor levels, even if it can be experimented down to where a master medic could use thats fine with the mind cost and the fact its not just easily picked up by any joe with just a little medic.

You know, I really like the new titles but I think it might've been just a bit better if they put Shock Trooper at Master and put Pyrotechnician or something at Flame IV. Just something better than "Master commando" would be nice for those of us stubborn enough to keep it
