Is this guy ever going to post around here?

At first I was irritated to see no response from our new correspondent.However I have seen previous posts about commando issues and he has a good sense of things. I am eager to see what synn can do for us.

i wonder if he even knows he's our correspondant...

i mean... why hasn't he posted here yet? why hasn't he had any communication with the people he is representing?

kinda making me wonder..

Grats Synn.Although many here are discouraged as many of us have had our own feelings voiced through Iv and he has all but become the understood leader of our community, I do wish you well.

Understand that the position you are moving into is one which is going to demand alot of time and ALOT of feedback to the people whom you represent. No offense, but many of us have been here and struggled through this mess of a profession since day one, at this point we all believe that we should have a VERY pro active and well informed correspondent.

You know, some people have lives, maybe MasterSynn is on a one week vacation, or business trip, or had an accident.

And do you really expect a responce in a thread where you did great them with "u suxxor" "iv is bettah than u!"?

I don't doubt Iv's knowledge or ability for a moment,but I hope the rest of younoticed that his post on this thread was the mark of somebody with some dignity, and Im sure he will continue his work here, which I've enjoyed reading.

All MasterSynn has done is to be made correspondant by SOE and suddenly you are jumping all over him? You expected him to sit next to his phone / e-mail box waiting for SOE to ring him with the news or something? Even if he is available, I'm not surprised he hasn't replied - were I in his shoes, I would have found nothing worth replying to, and just ignore the whining babies.

And before I hear replies saying the "who are you? you dont post here much, what gives you the right to make an opinion" blah blah, I may only be a new commando, but it doesn't take a million pointsheavy weapons xp to know when people are acting like kids that have thrown their rattles out of their pram

So give him a break, judge him on what he does in his post.

I Agree...I can understand why he wouldn't come in this thread and post...However, he could post a "Hi, i'll do my best" kind ofpost or whatever...just an Agknoledgment of The position and the community he represents.

Well i would like to judge him on what he does post...however if he only post Stuff like "Looking to bye Storm Trooper armor!" that dpesn't realy give us much to go on...Its nothing we can Look at and Feel confident in our representation

Cilla, he's not on vacation...he's still posting in the Gorath boards. Or, if he's on vacation, he's posting from the vaca. Other boards have this same problem....DE's got a correspondent that's not even DE. BE's hasn't posted in weeks.

Thanks Tortza. Garibaldi did an excellent job as correspondent and I know I have some enormous boots to fill. I will do my best to represent you all to the Devs and have been in contact with Xahn. I'm trying desperately to arrange for a better communications process than just sending in e-mail reports and then waiting a week or two for a reply.

I'll be monitoring that thread the most, so please post reports and requests there. I'm already compiling a list of problems that remain to be solved and requests that haven't been dealt with yet.

Some of you have complained (loudly) that Ivoni was not appointed the second correspondent. Ivoni has proven to be a valuable asset to the commando community and I fully intend to heed his advice and work with him. At his request, I have already stickied two of his threads which provide good, general knowledge for all us commandos. I don't intend to do this for everyone and the fact that I have done so for Ivoni is an indication of my respect for him and his writing skill.

I have no doubt that Ivoni will eventually be appointed commando correspondent. In the mean time, I ask that you follow his lead and work with me to continue to improve the profession. I will do my best for you and expect the same in return.
