Thread: Thats it! I'm giving up BH to be a commando
so in other word you moved to the leet flavor of the month. it's not masochism, it's called patience wich did were thin at times but when I throw my time and effort into something I'm doing it becauseI believe it to be a worthwhile venture not just because I read a website that said it was the most powerful char on the game at that point in time. I also don't choose a new favorite football team if the one I support isn't doing well. That's a flexible systems too.
Yeah, I initially went commando because I thought it would be the damage dealer much like Wizard from EQ. But I gave it up and went BH because it's been too long not being able to do anything in the game.
Glad to see there's hope for y'all finally.

Before you start resetting skills ask yourself why you want to be a commando. If it's to own people in duels, you're better off staying a BH. If it's to wander the world soloing dark jedis for loot, you're better off staying a BH. If it's to be different, you're better off being a BH (there will be a lot of us once we're fixed). My dream for the commando is to be pure damage, we'll see if this comes to pass, but the last update on TC gives me hope. Players like the BH and Smuggler can beat around everyone in duels, but when we hit the battlefields i want to be the guy who does the damage while everyone else keeps the crowd controlled for me.
And yes, eyeshot with the launcher was fun. Too bad I had to reset it

Hey guess what, masteringa combat classis also a complete waste of time. After you've mastered a combat class theres really nothing to do. I'll probably play commando for a couple of weeks and then try my hand at combat medic.

Okay as a master carbineer and BH I could solo anything in game.... Even with the knockdown changes I would be better off than a commando. I was already "ubest" though I'm only assuming you mean "Uberest". I pity you if you think commando will be the bestcombat classin thegame even with the new fixes.
I agree commando is not gonna be the uberest class even with the fix. The high damage capability will be there but soloing is another thing.
Commando has no specials to hold mobs at bay therefor a group will be needed to protect you.
this is to goldstar, none of us are failed bh's or ch's, matter of fact there is no way to fail at either. With taming / training one i can solo anything i want and with bh carbine one i can solo anything i want.
we are not losers for droping bh for commando we are the ones who want to have more fun and rewards for leveling up. Rather then just spaming underhand shot and eyeshot till the enemy is dead i'd like to have a variety of weapons to choose from and a little more variety in my attacks.

Also goldstar dont' cry about "commando is the worst" now its going to get good and everyone wants it. You should have known it was busted before you got into it, it's been widley know forever. I was sad when i heard that it was busted but instead of picking it up and crying about it i grabed pistoleer and bh until i felt it was going to be playable. Seriously whats your deal, you've become bitter says me......

also bh realy is'nt that hard to get, campings the most difficult xp followed by the 1300 apprenticship points, master marksman take a week tops scout could take a mounth.
why did i pick it?
simply..coz i LIKED IT MUCH only from reading what kinda of weps could the commando use...i LIKED the concept of a commando that's it.
why did i take pistoleer?
simply .. coz it's a logical consequence to a commando user , without any skill-bonus on the launcher pistol i just picked up a profession that gave me some mods on it.
i mastered my commando WITHOUT readin' any of this forums , i begun to read when i decided to write down my disgust on how the commandoskill-tree and weps were broken.
Hey dude maybe a MMORPG noob have to read thousands of threads to understand how to make his' skill template...personally i (and with me lots of other MMORPG powerplayers) can do it on my own.
Hmm boy you must really hate me, I have both a BH on one server and a Commando on another. What difference does it make if people do come over. Did you ever think that maybe why there wasn't a lot of them before is because the class is messed up? Well a little news for all you "Stay away from my profession" people. Everyone paid the same for this game to play any class they want to. If there is more commandos once the class gets fixed its probably because people will now be able to play them without feeling gimped. I think you may start seeing an equivilvent population of commandos and BH's. I think thats good.
Just because a few people were stubborn enough to dredge through all the problems doesn't mean they are the only ones entitiled to play the profession.
well maybe for crappy pvp low-skilled ppl..
actually (with the only launcher pistol) with my master commando-pistoleer-medic i run out over expert bounty hunts too easy...
...i never posted whinings about commandos in forums a part this one (and it's obvious till the new fixes my profession was something to laugh to) , coz just i compensate with my personal pvp skill.
so don't write any bull**edit** anymore pls , coz what I say is complitely different :
u follow the wind direction.."today a bh (or ch) , tomorrow a commando..one day : who knows , just read the fixes and choose.."
