Yeah, I knew about this. My PA has a Master Brawler with WarCry2 and it's SO funny to watch him run into the Imperials with his hands waving in the air.

They can't do squat, and he's cheering for them.

Warning shot and suppression fire still work while using heavy weapons as well.

Warcry is a cone effect, but be careful...I opened up with it a couple of times against huurtons (ie. not in combat, targeted mob, hit warcry hotkey) and i got a standard FT shot...not a warcry. Needless to say, it was a very short fight.

Since having to adjust my playing style due to the melee modifier, I have begun to use more ranged support specials. The miss rate is streaky, even at box four, but when they hit they work. I am glad for your info and will most certainly give it a try. I still like going in hot and heavy when it is warranted and this may give me a breather if a melee warps in on me.

I have to agree with the TK/COM folks. This combo is looking like it may be the route to go but is the healing tradeoff worth it to give up medic? Meditate is nice but what about insta-healing? I am finding my skill points to do anything else to be very limited. I have already given up a lot of scout but am almost forced to keep exploration, and if I want to heal in the wild, at least survival 3.

There are just so many choices......

Used WarCry1 for the first time last night on Talus. I was hunting Torturs and I was stunned and amazed at the overall success rate of this skill. Who knew!? WarCry1 actually stopped the critters in their tracks around 4 out of 5 times for no less than 10 seconds. More than enough time to apply Flame single 2 switch to the LP and get out of the way. Very nice option for combat.

I got Warcry to work on an imperial noncom the other day, and warcry also works against players as well, just thought you would all like to know.

Four carbineers have died in the time it took me too post this because:

1) There are only two working carbine attacks, including the attacks you get from the marksman branch

2) The dev's still don't realize Carbineer is spelt "Carbinier" in our master and novice titles.

3) Of our two attacks that do work, they basically kill us in 10-12 attacks with most every carbine.

4) The dev's continue to ignore how broken the carbine profession is

Do you have to be within a certain range for Warcry to work?

Hiya, master heavy swordsman/master brawler here paroozing the forums whenI came across this.

Since a lot of you seem to be asking things about warcry, here's the deal.

With warcry one, you get a 10 second delay (if it sticks, that's the big part). With warcry two, you'll get a lovely 20 second delay (to be honest, if it takes you more than 20 seconds to kill something, you probably shouldn't be fighting it )

However, if you want to get really nasty. Those of you that have knockdown can knockdown an enemy, and warcry. Poof! He's down for the duration of warcry. **NOTE** this doesn't work in PvP, so watch out.

Hope that helps some.

well if you get master brawler and have warcry2 , you also have lunge2 attack which has a dang good chance of knocking down a target.

'But why is Fantasia dying then?'
'Because people have begun to loose their hopes and forget their dreams. So the nothing grows stronger. It's the emptiness that's left. It's like a despair, destroying this world. And I have been trying to help it.'
'But why?'
'Because people who have no hopes are easy to control. And whoever has control has the power'
