There is a poignant beauty in simplicity. Tashunka my man, you hit it on the head.

The funny thing is that if you would have answered his question in the first place, it would have taken up much less of your time.

And if he'd bothered to look for the answer on his own it would have taken up less of everyones' time including your own.

It's an elitistforum thing. With some people, the longer you've been a member=the more off a **edit** you become. It's quite common on just about all forums, from gaming to politics.

They feel that because they've been around longer, and have read every post on the board since the beginning, they have the right to flog newcomers. It's like a hazing ritual. The "n00b" understands that he, with only four posts, should know his place as the Omega. The Alpha, meanwhile, is now more confortable about the size of their **edit**...

To answer the kid's question- Yes, this armor exists, but notin the hands of the common player. The Devs and CSRs have lots of nifty toys like to tease the rest of us with, and will make occasionally make appearances around town with them to keep people on their toes, or to just show off some of the work they've done that'll probably never make it into the actual game. This armor is one of them...

They'll run around town as "famous" Star wars characters on occasion. I've seenboth a suit of Mandalorian, and Darth Vader personally...

hey now dont stereotype not all of us are like this.. i help 99.9% of the time i post replies to someone's thread..

couldnt you used to be able to get it out of the treasure hunts? I know some people got it that way.

No one has gotten Mandalorian armor...NO ONE. If anyone found Mandalorian armor it would be as big a deal if not bigger than when the first Jedi slot was opened...trust me,we'd all know about it.

And yeah, I figured to by the armor, or at least some of it, if it were available. Whats a few 100k credits for an armored glove? The in game economy is so out of wack it's just totally rediculous to buy a Composite helmet for 15k-40k depending on where you happen to buy it. So yeah, I accept that part of the game and would have bought some armor...what else am I going to spend my credits on?

I spent 70k on my helmet But it's worth it when it has 80% resists.

Cy, I read through almost everyone's responces and let me clear up some things.

No, it isn't in game yet. When it is introduced, it will be a lootable item and there will only be 3 full sets per server. At least that is the last thing said about it (officially). Chances of getting a full set of Mandalorian is slim tonone and will cost you a huge fortune to buy it if people are willing to part with it.

No, it will never be craftable. The Mandalorians are extinct and their technology went with them.

I hope that clears it up for you.

have a link to this "official" statement?

Pex came to a guildies wedding a few weeks ago in full Mandalorian armor. It had 0% resists, so I'm guessing its not an obtainable item yet. Just still in concept/development.

No he didnt. Unless he hacked which means hes banned now.

LMAO

Pex is a dev. I don't think he can be banned...

well...as far as I know, only 1 piece exists atm..on TC w/ Hellshot's avatar....it was around 58% resists I believe -- however thats Post-CB..after the reductions in armour

It did have a host of vulnerabilities..but had around 40-45k condition.....if you look into these forums (commando ones) you should find hellshot's post w/ pictures about it.

I have heard a rumor ingame of someone getting some of the armour on Chilastra tho....but as far as Im concerned, atm only one helmet exists...
