Thread: After reading the post on tomorrows Update, I had enough.. e' finito
you did not fail us garibladi. you did what was needed to be done. you did what was asked of you. you did what anyone could possibly have done for us. like someone said earlier, its the devs that have failed us.
sorry to see ya go like this. you've represented us well, and have left huge shoes to fill for the next correspondant.
Its really a shame, but I certainly can't blame him. I surrendered my commando skills a few days back when I finally realized I was just kidding myself if I thought SoE was going to make the class playable anytime within the next 3 months.

I'm right behind you Gari, but since there are no refunds I'm going to keep checking in till my 3 months runs out. I don't know why, all my DAoC buddy's that came over with me have already left and gone back.

Maybe Sony will redo this as a single player game, because that's basically what it is right now as far as combat and grouping go. Of all the problems with this game, that's the worst. You can't even group together with your buddys without gimping xp all around. You're supposed to be encouraged to group in these games, but somehow SOE has penalized grouping.
It's really sad, all of it.

Sorry it's come to this, but I have to admit the thought has been more and more with me lately. You did a great job, it's just a shame the other end of the line dropped the ball.
I think all the commandos feel exactly the same way you do. And SOE's contempt to throw us a frickin bone is frankly, downright, undistutably, DISGUSTING. We who felt and wanted this class so bad that we refuse to cheapen ourselves to bh etc (which we could have mastered 3 times over by now) only to end up with nothing makes this all the more infuriating. I swear if a dev had to play commando on live for just one day he'd fire himself.....
I chose the basic monthly plan so I for one will stick around and hope/pray/sacrifice for the dev's to remove their heads from their asses.
As you can see by my signature I am no Commando. I know a little of your struggles and I know how it must frustrate you. Most of you are very upset and you have every right to be. I know I would be.
But, I had no idea of what you guys, and obviously your Correspodent, are/were going through. His resignation letter was very well written and thought out. It issuch a shame that hethought he had to leave. As I read it I too was shocked that he would receive no refund for the months he would not be playing... hats off to him for stopping payment!!
I hope you guys get your day. And I hope it comes sooner rather than later. That way you will have everyone crying to nerf you 
Just kidding(look at sig, and you'll know what I've been hearing everyday on these boards).

Hey man It is a shame to see you go.. You have been a very good Correspodent. I am heading to become a commando.. They should be a stronger class than they are. SWG does have some problems right now, I do hope they fix... You have pulled alot of weight for us. A apology to you should be hand written and mailed to you for sure from the SWG crew. Thanks for everything man.. If things keep the way they are see you in WoW.

As a BE, I feel your guys' pain to some extent. And it is sad to see that someone who would seem to be doing a great job is lost to the community as a whole. I wish all you commandos the best. Send me a tell in game if you're on Bloodfin (to Alcibiades) and I'll see if I can hook you up with a free pet or something.
I'll only be around for a couple more weeks anyhow, my experience has been too frustrating also to warrant $21 Can.a month.
Hopefully in a few months the wrinkles will be ironed out and I can go back to being a BE/CH/Rifleman. Who knows. Best of luck to you guys, and whomever replaces him.
It saddens me that you are leaving, you have done an excellent job.Anyway as somebodydid stated before why to leave now as the big patch is coming in 2 days? My conception on the big patch is has beendelayed now nearly 2 weeks,soapparently/hopefully they have been busyinfixing andworking thecoming big patch and more significant issuesthan us. (Doesn't make sense though that fishinggo overprofession.)I suggest you to wait the patch, if they don't want to be cooperative (What they really should start to do immediately this profession has been unplayable two months now.) leave thecommando profession,but if they want to cooperative you are surely right person to give commando related feedback to them, so do it for yourself and do it for us and wait a couple days.

Thanks again for the tremendous effort you put forth for ALL of us, just not the stubborn bull-headed players that regardless of how broke and neglected our class was decided to stick with it, but for all the hordes of players who are paying SOE a monthly fee to play an incomplete product. Through your sacrifice and struggles it should be readily apparent just how completely unconcerned SOE is about its customers and how poor a product was rushed to market simply because they couldn't wait any longer to line their pockets with our money.
I have worked in Law Enforcement for over 5 years now and the crime that we are allowing SOE to get away for is called Theft of Service, it like driving into a gas station telling the attendant to put $20 worth of gas in your tank, he puts only $5 worth and you drive off and run out of gas on the highway. Its a crime, we pay for a service and yet we do not receive it. How much more do we have to pay them before we can actually get a quality product? Come December will the profession which we choose to play be ready? What do we do till than settle for another profession that ultimately we do not want to play simple because it is not broke or that SOE actually pays heed to?
Simply put in any other business enviroment and certainly any where outside of "cyberspace" a half assed product such as SWG would force a business into ruin, instead because SOE knows how to feed a market and has siezed the oppurtunity to exploit what essentially is a cultural icon of the of the 20thcenturyto fleece thousands upon thousands of simple folk who were merely looking to have fun and enjoyment.
Raise a glass and toast ladies and gentlemen, here's to SOE, cheers! Thank You for sucking the life and fun from a potential fantastic and limitless epicadventure that we all could have expand on and at the same time stealing my money without a hint of guilt or regard to my opinion! You are truly a credit to all the snake oil salesmen that have proceeded you, you have raised the bar on the bait and switch to a global level and really need recognition for this!!
