my temple is master commando/master pistols/2-0-0-0 CM/3-3-0-0 FS combat.
this is a very good templet in group pvp but i not that good in solo pvp.
when i unlock my 2nd char for jedi i will make him a commando/ CM/ carb 0-4-0-0

Template Purpose
To provide support for groups and be self-suffciant. Also to be desireable to have in a group (doctor heals and buffs).
Pro's
Doctor Buffs make things a bit easier, uber Healing while I'm pounding away at targets allows me to focus on applying damage.
Very much the Tank.
Simple template to use; only have to worry about healing and doing damage.
Can shoot pretty quick alternating between the standard zero skill cost ranged shot and the marksman 1000 'Aimed' shot.
The template has plenty of endurance and can survive steady aggro.
Negatives
No variety in skills' when shooting.. only do damage and heal.
Draws aggro pretty quick (when everyone else is starting out with crowd control to applying states your already doing damage and incruing aggro healing whom-ever is getting munched upon (including the HoT's (Heals over Time) I lay down on myself and the main tank).
No damage-enhancing shots (I normally have to drop at least one heal during each battle).
Conclusion
A simple template that allows one to focus on doing damage. The heals and buffs helps not only the character but also the entire group (providing you can keep everyone buffed).

I went with Teras Kasi Master and Master Commando with some medic skills thrown in for survivability. This template gives me a lot of options while not gimping my offense or defense. Itsflexible, with access to range and melee attacks as well as the ability to recover from states and inate armor. I haven't played the template yet in pvp but it is very fun for pve. Currently, I am making up my mind between going for novice doctor to increase my healing ability and utilityor to stick with novice medic and take novice smuggler for concussion shot.
Purpose: To have fun in a group or solo while being able to tank, deal damage or heal as needed.

Note: Improved Center of Being increases my defense by 500. If I am using heavy weapons, I activate CoB then ready my weapon. When it runs out, I have a macro that will removes my weapon, activates CoB and readies my weapon again. Also, food and drink are your friends.
