I don't envy your successor, big shoes to fill! all I think we can do is support the next Correspondent as best we can.

Tons...I think there are volumes of involved folks in this forum who would make a great commando Correspondent...some names that spring to mind are(and I'm likely leaving a lot of names out not on purpose...sorry if I fogetting anyone...I'll likely add later...and these are in no particular order):

  • RankorCity

  • BravenIrish

  • Razerwolf

  • Hellshot

  • Ryubushi

  • Skeptic666

  • aeuralis

  • and of course, our old Correspondent Lordseckmoth

All of the above mentioned names have constantly shown a passion for our profession, a demonstrated knowledge of our issues, have been constant posters,and have been with us for a long time (demonstrated dedication). I encourage EVERYONE to apply when Tiggs makes her post application post.








I'm honored to be on that list, but for the time being I will not be applying. I will continue to do all that I can to help (on the forums and in-game), and I will back anyone on that list. I will also anxiously await your return amigo.

Well good luck, your the biggest reason I'veread this forum and have kept Commando forso long. I hateto see you go but a can imagine you need a break from all the BS... from both sides.

Applying I just got back home...writing up the application tonight/tomarrow hehe. Today for some reason Ive been having a very gung-ho feeling...lots of good stuff (as well as fairly sad event ) have happened. IF i do get accepted, Ill try and live up to the Garvinist expectations...but if it does become a job that may be over my head, Ill make sure a better correspondant can get in (that is if im accepted)...Of course I may be doubting myself, but ya never know...

You know, now that i think about it, the correspondants are the real jedi in this game. especially with the blue glowie afterwards.



I am heartened that Starnick is taking up the flamethrower, glad that garvin will still be hanging out, and also, through a random turn of events a little pekopeko told me that the DEVs are seriously spending day and night on the CURB, so much time that their standard programs have all been put on hold.


Fair winds and following seas to garvin.

That had to be one of the hardest clicks Ive ever had to click for an email....now...its up to the developers...

Man I really hate to see this happen.


Garvin you truely have been a driving force for the Commando Community these past several months. You have done an excellent job since takingover the reignsfrom Lord Sekmoth when he had to leave unexpectently.


And whoever gets the position will have some mighty big shoes to fill, and a small commando army of blue glowies standing with them.

First off I'd like to say thanks for all you've done for this community and for our great profession. Second I'm very sad to see you go and I have to say that if you ever do want to become our Correspondent again I'm sure everyone would gladly welcome you back. Good luck in all your future endeavours (or however you spell that) and good luck to the next person who steps up to take your place.
