I agree that Commandos need some sort of Toughness.I too am MC/TKM and it annoys me that I have to be TKM to get decent defences. We must be in close to use our Flame single and then stand about for ages taking a serious beating.

When I am fightinga difficult beast I often have to switch to TKM and spar with my opponent until I can regenerate enough to use my flamer again. TKM can stand toe to toe with just about anything but a Commdo takes a beating - this is not right.

I don't want commando to be untouchable but you should not be able to knock us down in a punch.
