Your main character becomes force sensitive, you can then either work on becoming a full jedi, or just have some latent FS skills to suplement your normal abilities"
I know that the revamp is still in it's infacy....but has there been any news related to the quests at all. As in what to expect, and the difficulty?
Dysinn Rahl (Gorath) Master Commando/TKM

Using a loose qoute from the DEVs, the quests are supposed to be very difficult and take a muchlonger time than holo-grinding. You have been warned.
I've actually been looking into making a post regarding the Commando benefits of being Force Sensitive.
The problems I'm having making a good analysis is the speed bug and the fact that some people are debating whether many of the Force Sensitve abilities are working...The Melee & Range Defense trees seem to work fine (since they are standard Melee Def & Ranged Def Mods)...But the Melee & Ranged Attack Bonuses are questionable...I just hope that by the time it hits live the questions will be put to rest...
I will probably make a post over the weekend detailing certain trees and their grants of being Force Sensitive...The nicest thing about the Force Sensetive boxes are they all cost just 1 skill pt each...so they are much easier to gain...
And for those who say "Well any profession can get them so we aren't really getting any advantage", you are right about the advantage...but the thing you are forgetting is "capping"...these grants, such as Melee & Ranged Def, plus the right dabbling routes, get a Master Commando that much closer to the +125 Def Cap...you have to remember, a TKM + Master Fencer has over +160 in Melee Defense...but in reality, that is the same as having +125 Melee defense because of the cap...it get's us closer to lowering their advantage rather then give us any type of advantage over them...It helps to even the playing field just that much more...Plus...if the Ranged Attack bonuses work as they have been reported, we should see improvement to using our FT's...
Anyway...I'll try and post more specifics about the new Jedi Trees this weekend...

That's actually a really good point Garvin. Most of the other profs have not only hit the cap on defenses, but their speed as well. Has anyone thought of the implications that this will have on high end weapons? With FS abilities you might no longer need that reall fast krayt flamer anymore to hit the cap. The weapons that will be more likely to take a hit are the pistols, power hammers, and the like. You can buy just decent one with decent damage and hit the cap. No need to spend a ton of money anymore.
