Thread: HOW DO WE GET ON IN DEATH WATCH BUNKER?

Yes the SBD only have 60% resist to flame, but they are AP3 and the FTis AP0. So a Flamesingle hit for 12k would only actually hit for 600. My point was that, IMHO, you are better suited to stack your Flame Dots, then switch to another weapon like the HAR.
I usually just stack the DOTs and then switch to the knucklers for unarmed toughness. That way I can just tank it out while the flame eats away. Rinse and repeat when DOTs run out of time.
Hit this thing last saturday... first, its the most fun I've had in a long while. Solo? Forget it. You may make it a ways, but you will die. The best thing to do is to bring along some tanks (we had swordsman and TKAs)and a master doc if you can. We had a group of 12 which dwindled down to6ish due to buff expiration (doh) by the time we reached the mine entrance... In the room prior to which there are at least 3 SBD, some DW Wraiths, some Bloodguard, and a couple normal BDs ... if I remember correctly.Needless to say, our meager group was KO'd. Its the time it takes to kill these mothers, that gets ya in the end. Spawn rates are quick.
Anyway, as for how we fare? We are needed in here. Flame stack all 4 specials (just another confirmation here that it works). From there its a toss up. For a single target I'd swtich to the HAR. For mutiples I stuck with cone2 (be careful with the cone though, be sure to pull the map and be sure you're not going to agro any others. I'd love to have used HAR cone2, but the delay sucks... and when things spawn as quick as they do in there, you need to be able to flame DOT things the second they spawn.
Also.... there are dead ends in there. If you're in a room that goes no where, get out quick. To get anything done in this beast you'll need more than one trip. With our group size it was mearly exploration and looting that was or goal. If you plan on having anything made, dont bother until you have ALL the componets on you.. or better yet the person making the goodies for you.
All said... this makes the Corevette seem to be a walk in the park.
