< Alorra's gun shop in Vagabond's Rest sells 426-814 4.6 FTs.>
Got it.
She is using a different type of Blaster Rifle Barrel. The basic one gives more speed than the Advanced one.
My new 'fastest' FT is now 437-839, 4.7spd.
Better resources would account for the additional 0.1spd, though I'm not sure why she does less damage.....

Right so. Time to do a factory run of basic barrels so I can do a factory run of those FTs.

Awesome work again, Brilyn. I realy apprieciate your work and posts here. Couldn't you come over to Eclipse?
Have you tried made FTs using Imperial Form Fitted Stocks? (adds damage and decreases speed)

I've heard of those stocks alright, but I've never even seen one. I know they're quite fantastic, but I've never even seen (or heard of) one for sale.
If a Commando on Starsider came to me with one, I'd happily do a custom build for them.
As for moving, nope not gonna happen. I quite like my PA.

You're right about the barrels. She's also using non-advanced power handlers. This accounts for both the lower damage and faster speed. With better steel/iron, she could probably hit that 4.5 speed someone was mentioning on Eclipse earlier.

I found a total steal some days ago. A Flame Thrower with Imperial Form Fitted stock for 50K!!! I bought it as fast as I could despite I'm currently not a Commando (I will return some day)
Stats were pretty good, its unsliced: 477-877 4.2. A regular Eclipse FT is about 443-839 4.7. Not sure what kind of slice I want on that one.
I would say form fitted stocks are pretty scarce on Eclipse and finding one like this was a total suprise, but I'm happy

Well, a Razorwolf indicated, 4.7spd, with the damage I've listed is has a slightly more optimum DPS than 4.6spd with a 30pt damage drop.
I think I'm fairly satisfied with this, *but* I'll be happy to make faster, less-damaging FTs as custom orders.
Shelfspace just became limited, and I'm now 0403 in crappy Merchant.
On the upside, I think I'll drop a new vendor just for Commando Weaponry so people can find it easier.

Just to throw a little bit of my own advice into the mix... I personally think the reason people go for speed over damage, especially now is the weapon swapping delays. I don't know if it's true, but I've heard (and it makes sense) that the delay to equip the weapon is the same as the weapon's base speed. So the faster the FT, the faster it'll equip/unequip. While the DPS might not be the greatest, it really helps to get the special over with as soon as possible so you can do your next move.

a few remarks:
on my server the advanced BPH are faster then the regular....it's the BARREL you don't want advanced.
I have a HAR with +74 acc@ideal, it does make a difference...big difference acutally with mild speedslice it's 4.8s now (down from 6 if I remember correctly)
The key to an Accurate HAR is a acc experimented SCOPE (+41@ ideal) and a stock.
My FT is krayted and imp stocked, came out 916 max 3.2s, with speedslice it's now 2.5s -32@ ideal I think....don't miss very much on acc food though.
currently I only have HBPC, but the rest is coming...acc on those should also be at appr. +75@ ideal hehehhe PvP material
Have to go now lol
