and don't forget that Commando's have a better Crowd Control than smugglers, with their AoE-weapons...
luckily, i've got both smuggler and commando, so i can root/daze in AoE

The problem is where everyone else does as much or more damage for lower SAC at a faster rate.

Lol the actual email is funnier, its from Spaceballs and I was meaning to post it on the forums:
The day has come! The devs are actually working on a commando revamp, and we were given the opportunity to watch the end result of the revamp via a new SOE feature called "Instant Revamp Video", where we can watch it as it happens and see what actually happens to us, before the revamp is actually really done.
(Commando) - What am I looking at?! When does this happen in the game?
(Dev) - Now. You're looking at the revamp now, Customer!
*Does some dev-like hand gestures*
(Dev) - Everything that happens now is happening now.
(Commando) - What happened to then?
(Dev) - We passed then.
(Commando) - When?
(Dev) - Just now. We're at now, now.
(Commando) - Go back to then!
(Dev) - When?
(Commando) - Now.
(Dev) - Now? We can't. We missed it.
(Commando) - When?
(Dev) - Just now.
(Commando) - When will then be now?
(Dev) - Soon (tm).
This may be how it'll be like when the Devs finally announce a revamp
