lol, so true for 7, 8, and 9.

I've personally tried the "Last Ditch Grenade" toss to save myself. I tossed it at a Swooper and ended up getting killed. (No damage done to Swooper)

I've also was kicked out of a group when they realized what profession I was....let's see....oh yeah, I was partnered up with another person, and when he asked to see my Launcher Pistol stats he said, "I think I will hunt solo now" and ran off.

I won't forget that......know if I can only remember his name.....

Ah, yes, I remember working on my 40k combat xp for novice and saying, 'god i can't wish to use my launcher pistol', then getting it and getting whooped. First thing I did was came to the boards, read all the issues, and started crying. I've checked theseboards everyday since. 500k Pistol xp from my launcher and one fix later I am rejoicing!

Commando from the start, Commando for life!

Hooray! I'm a "real" commando, I guess. I've made a few fanta shokata movies. And, during a hunt, someone asked who the hell was "throwing all those traps" and said it was annoying. It was actually me using my launcher pistol. I sheepishly put it away.

i feel that i am a real commando even tho i haven't yet attained novice commando

the reason being that if rated by how much i play SWG i would be labeled a "casual gamer" this is not by choice. it because i have the problem where i lose my connection all the time. sometimes less than a minute after connectiong. u sually i have around 10 mins of playing before i am disconnected (about once a week i get lucky and have almost 45 mins of playing before losing connection). because of this i cannot level up quickly. i had originally intended to be a BH not because of the abilities but because Bobba Fet is a Bad A$$ and i think he is awesome. i also wanted to become Master Fencer (title "Blade Master") my in-game name is LewsTherin Kinslayer and any of u who know who he is, wnow why i want to become Blade Master (BM's also get good spec def's although i've heard they currently aren't working correctly) anyways one day i realized that i did not have enough skill points to become both BH and BM. i decided to drop BH because it used the most skill points. I set about examining the other professions and quickly decided on Pistoleer because that was what i had been using anyways (thay also get good spec defs) i was content with my decision. Then the At-St was unveiled as was its absurd non-dyingness and super-killingness. i realized that it was my duty, as a yet undeclared (now soon to be) Rebel, to stop these monstrosities. master pistoleer and Blade Master not withstanding, i would be in no condition to give them the sound spanking that they deserved. i once again set about looking for a new more powerful career and lo and behold the broken commando was brought to my attention. only a madman would chose such a path, but i am a madman, mad with the thirst to put an end to the ridiculouose rampaging of the horror that is the At-St. I also thought using thermo-detonators and flame-throwers would be pretty cool. i had heard the cries and seen the post of the disgruntled commandoes crying for help. Yet i knew there was hope. something stirred deep inside me (it might have been that frozen burrito i had eaten after leaving it on the kitchen counter all day) and i knew the devs could not ignore the commandoess much longer. they were due for a fix. so i began woirking on unarmed fighting and a few days later bam the reports ferom the Test center came in and i was overcome with emotion and wept. my hopes had paid off.

whew!

anyways i have braved many trials (being disconnected halfway through a hard TK fight with a mummer thug anly to reconnect ( agood 7 min proces including disconnecting and reconnecting to the internet)and see that 5 have spawned an slain me. soomany times...) this was before i new to clone myself so i would began the long adn greuling trek to the med center, a journy that, being aggravated with disconnects, would take upwards of half an hour! then the inhuman trek to the cantina.....*eyes glaze over with tears*

so what im saying is if u see me, LewsTherin Kinslayer, of BLoodfin,a novice commando, please do not scorn me as a band wagon jumper. i have had faith in the commandos for a while and would like to become a part of the noble Anti-AT-St profession that has seen so much hardship.

->solo-ed 95% of the timefor xp to reach Commando

-> didn't talk to anyone much

-> didn'tknowCommando was broken

-> became Commando

-> 10 minutes later, I felt something was fishy

-> read the boards

-> fell to my knees crying.

I guess I'm 3, 5, 7 and10, so maybe I can consider myself a "Real Commando"

hehe...with my LP i lvled up 3 boxes in pistoleer...

of course using pistoleer helps the incaps/dbs from novice pistoleers when ur a commando

going to fort tusken reguarly helps with xp (no bunnies for me!! well...except for the occasional 2.2k instant death blow shot from a snarling warlord..)

I earned dirty fighting 1 with my old launcher pistol Thanks to DaVinci for actually crafting me one.

Was not lucky enough or rather unlucky enough to obtain a flamethrower and go after crazed durni's so no nightmares there also no heavy weapons xp prior to the fix with launcher pistols

I was asked to put up my pistol and use my scout blaster since we had 2 melee people in the group.

Don't forget the timeless question asked by even the most naieve and noobish players.
