Ohh...you have no idea what the Geo Cave was like. We're talking more people than I've ever seen together at once on our server. A total of around 400 guys there from day one to like day five. We had doctors outside shouting "buffing for 10k", and groups forming non-stop (not that anyone needed a group, the second something spawned 4 guys instantly attacked it)

Actually, I do. I saw the exact same thing on Corbantis, it was crazy.

The key thing to remember though, is that some of the toughest mobs in the geonosian dungeon were the enhanced Kwi's, critters with 30k HAM and AR2. Your average deathwatch NPC has upwards of 50k HAM and AR2, going all the way to AR3 Super-battle droids which absolutely decimate a group, even a well-prepared one. You also have to remember that if you die after going in, the only way you can continue is with a revive (short of going back to Jabba's and starting all over again.)

I can see the hordes of players there, but I bet they get killed off really fast, or stick to the entrance area that's easier.

My group fought a Super Battle Droid on the corvette. Maybe two guys got incapped (healed instantly), and we killed the bugger fast.

I think new type of armor is great, especially profession specific armor. Instead of "composite wars" now. My only question is where is any love for us wookiee commandos. Yes we have armor but, nothing like 80% composite or now this new mando armor. Those few extra HAM points mean nothing. I would rather get a dungeon that drops other "working" commando weapons rather than more armor, in my humble opinion.

"Hey Chewie did you bring armor repair kit, my composite really got shredded", said Han.

I was confirmed yesterday by the dev Rune that it will be Cert'd at the Master Level of each of the professions listed...it's meant to be a perk for Masters of those professions

the only reason they are going to give BH, SL , ranger , and commando the new armor.. is so we stop whining about a proff fix and be extreamly bord with a broken proff

go devs

Actually the real reason is because, with this armor, they are trying to stick with star wars folklore...The background of Mandalorilain's say there were a Military race of mainly Commandos...My guess is the the Devs felt that Rangers and Squad Leaders also fit that scheme...and we can all guess why Bounty Hunters were added as well...it had nothing to do with Whining...

If they had introduced the armor for other professions, folks would be whining that it was yet another way they violated Star Wars history...plus they want to try and keep the armor rare (which is why it's hard to craft/obtain and is cert'd at the Master Level)

Commando might rightly deserve to get good armour to help balance it out but hate to interject a whine what about wookiees? While we have finally gotton armour it is no where what other races can use. SO even with this it is once more wookiees need not apply since no way we can wear ever. I am not really complaining just that it kind of sucks to completely cut one race out of the loop no matter what profession they play.

LOL if there was really wookiees in real life would you want to piss one off even with super armour? Think not P Good luck to any who get the quest pieces.

I definitely feel for Wookiees (my alt is a wookiee)...

From what I've seen and heard, this armor is not going to be the best thing out there...it's actually much weaker on average then generic Composite when it comes to resists and such...Mand Armor is more for show then for actual protection...so if you are hoping to get the armor because you think it it's going to be a "super" armor, I'm sorry to report it isn't going to be super at all...One shot I saw of a Helmet had the resists around 30% and ugly vunerabilities...

I have heard, though, that some Bounty Hunter Armor that was dropping for awhile on Yavin has randomly hit 90% resists (this isn't Mand armor and is suppose to be cert'd to all professions...again wookies can't wear it as far as I know)...

I'm a Master Commando / Master TKA. I was going to drop Commando to pick up Bio-Engineer (stop laughing; I like it) but I'm going to hang on to Commando just to see how this whole Mandalorian thing plays out.

From what I hear the cert is only to be given at master level. I like the incintive of having to achieve master instead of dabble this and dabble that.
