I personaly think everyone is looking in the wrong direction..... Maybe they are going to take our existing base weapons and move them higher in stats to compete with the "good" stuff.

By doing this, it will allow solo/groups to still kill wildlife and hard npcs.

From a crafters point of view, they (devs) cant take your 3.1spd 600-1300 flame thrower and drop it down to 3.1spd 140-560 (this would make the armor business go belly up hunting for mass amounts of hides as well as other professions for example). The devs' keep speeding up the game, speeding up movement, speeding up healing, ..... they aren't gonna deviate from this pattern and slow down killing things. If they did this, people would get really really bored after having so long been able to take down creatures/npcs in minutes and not hours.

I dont think you have anything to worry about in the weapons mods really.......

Added, i think what the devs will do to a lot of creatures is making the Resistances only available to be see by professions that are skilled in hunting (scout, ranger, ch... ) This will add to forced grouping (until everyone memorizes the resistances).


The only thing i would truely worry about is the infestation of Jedi in this game.... it's simply ruining my "Galaxies" experience. Jedi at starports, jedi shopping out in the open, jedi running around in pink hot pants and blue hair..... /sigh

And this is where we come in, i like to think of it as "population control" with the comming of additional points why not toss a few to BH get your terrain neg up a bit and burn a few jedi while your at it. You have nothing to lose at all really, but the jedi on the other hand have everything to lose, from jedi experiance to force ranking and if your not a MBH and they happen to kill you all they get is the satisfaction that they killed a commando (which is not really saying much). On the other hand if you happen to get lucky and burn them to death dont forget to tell them that your a commando so they feel bad.
