They didn't give big love to two profs.


They appeased the smugglers a little and then smacked the hell out of Jedi with a giant nerfbat. And commando got nowt. not even a fix to the proton rifle, let alone a aoe/grenade/etc etc etc fix............

Ok they did a slight loving to 3 real proffesions (Combat Medic, Doctor, Smugler)

And I concider a Jedi Smack Down a good thing for all

Also implementing an entierly new slicing system is nothing to "Bah" off.

If you read the jedi stuff closely, you will see just their healing cooldown timers and saber throw damage were hit, basically they got bumped UP in most other areas.

Yes, but I can now have a chance of atleast incaping one, or Rooting it long enuf to run away b4 they saber KD me.

Also damage can be reduced with Shield and Recon Armor and having a CM or Doc with you.

I can live with them doing more damage, frankly they did do way to little. The healing is what made them damn near invinccible.

A thousand pacifers? Heh...

At least we got the element working (hopefully) now. Thats one of our big top 3, though...I sorta hope they raised the damage like they did with the Jedi elemental dmg =/...

I'm glad to see them do more damage though. I felt bad since they were one of the few professions that did less damage than we do.

I'm excited that you say we will get some info on our fixes "soon™" Stern. That gives me some hope. On the Smuggler boards Tiggs and Jfreeman promised us some info "Soon™" and it really happened. It only took a week or so. My faith in SOE doing what SOE says has improved considerably. Maybe we should have Wes deliver some personal kudo's to them. I doubt they would accept any baked goods from us now...lol

heh I am just thankful smugglers got some love, and those pesky nerfherders got taken down a notch.
Now just get the commando straight and the jobs a good one.

I still hope for the Commando that the fix of elemental damage will at the same time fix the broken AOE of the commandos. Time for some serious mass-carnage...

Here's to hoping Elemental damage makes it to live in one piece. I don't think Jedi got nerfed (c'mon 50% force reduction cost for powers? Force and action reduction cost for sabers? substantially less force cost for force armor / damage taken) In fact I think it's going to be more fun for them since upping damage and reducing heals (not by much IMO, but I'm no Jedi, I've just fought Jedi) will hopefully get rid of the 15minute Jedi on Jedi fights. Oh, and armor doesn't block Force Choke? yeah nerfed, riiiiggght.

Anyways this isn't the Jedi forums so *salute* to the devs for fixing our Elemental Damage and implementing a really cool slicing system IMO. Sure you got a 1200 max damage PFT, but you better have another in your inventory just in case it breaks.

I say they should nerf rifleman and put us back at the number 1 spot in damage dealing.. that is a joe that rifleman is god ..

AI got a whack in the face too, 2k force to use AI. They flattened out their defenses, spreading some over other trees instead of requiring every pajama-wearing freak to be MDef. Add in the healing timer expansion and you'reseeing Jedi'sfall from tanking class....now only if the regular profs could tank better.

Actually, the 2k cost for AI was just a rumor....it's only 1.2k now lol. Silly Jedi.....
