Thread: Good news....

Im not joking, I see things from a different point of view. Perhaps if you continue to whine and moan a Dev will come by and fix it for us? Nope. Use the tools we have to get this fixed, I am glad it has reached Development this quickly.
I've been through all this with Entertainers.
Be silent and patient - NOTHING happens.
Whine and scream - NOTHING happens for awhile, but then you get something done for you.
In SWG, the squeaky wheel most definitely gets the grease. No joke.
We used TC, which is a Dev tool, to try to get this fixed. Nothing happened and it went friggin LIVE - so scream all you like, everyone. There is absolutely no reason to have profession-breaking bugs slipping the system and going totally untouched. This is a very, very sad day for SWG, when our game, anyone's game, can come to this.
This situation, once corrected, will NEVER occur again while going totally ignored by the Devs. I hope the Devs are reading this, and they get my point - this situation will NEVER happen again. It is unacceptable.

I do use the tools we have ingameeverytime I have a problem. I send a bug report and everytime I never get a reply. Kinda gets a girl down when it looks like they don't care. ![]()

Excellent. See people? working WITH Customer Service and Development is the way to get this fixed.
You're missing the point.
This was REPORTED A WEEK AGO by players on TC, TC2, and by Ko in the correspondants' forum.
It still went live.
Someone needs to be fired.
Aww thanks alot I really needed that

People do use the tools provided to them. All one has to do is to read the CH forums to see where it gets a person. I believe the last few things that we have gotten so far are:
a pet icon
our pets going to 1(0)

Your right, there is no excuse for letting the bug go, Sony might as well say "my bad". They didn't catch it, and no one can say for certain why but them.
I can say for certain why: They're incompetent. It is the only viable explanation for something like this.

Yippee - Hurray - A CSR will tell the devs.
This is not the problem - nor an acceptable fix to the problem.
So true... Yet I've said that over and over and over again (until people get so tired of it and start removing my posts or complete threads where I happened to post in ... so if this one disappears, you all know who to blame)...
The problem is a lack of oversight and QA. What the h3ll could possibly explain that the devs didn't get this info from the /bug reports files on TC and in the forums?
/agree with it all. I've said the same things to this CSR, and he understood. Their main problem is that they cannot do ANYTHING without permission from the DEVS, and it really frustrated him!!!!
That scares me! QA should be in control, not the devs. If a BUG is submitted, QA should review, prioritize and get Devs to work on it. If Devs screw up,and QA failed to notice, QA should be able to rule thatCSR is ALLOWED to fix...

I really really want to believe that CSR cared but SOE has a double mastray in double talk. You think they feel they are dealing with natrional secrets with how little they lets us now what is going on.

But, Warryyr, they turn around and take all but one of the reasons you play the profession and give you one thing in return that anyone can get without your control. Where's the justice? /scratch Warryyr
