Nope. I have other characters that I can play if I get discouraged, though really none of my characters are the "ubah-leet" ones. I play to have fun, and all the cool weapons in Commando makes it fun even if I'm not uber.
Besides, it gives me an excuse to suck in PvP

This is actually the demon i have been dealing with since i came back to commando about 3-4 weeks ago i left after the CU to try other things to see what i liked not necessarly because commando was/is gimped I spent while in lombo between a few professionsbut spent most of the time as a MBH/pistols itwas lots of fun but got tired of whiny jedi and all the darned planet hopping. Then i switched to TKM/Msowrds/doc and earned a small reputationas a pretty bad dudethen the itch finally got to me between being a little overpowered and really wanting to be a commando again i started regrinding. now i am Mrifles/Mcomando 3000CM and i get my rearside handed to me by creatures 5 lvl's below me on occation and i cant solo hunt the lvl 86-89 black sun ne more. If there isnt at least a minor fix in the mix any sooner than 6-8 monthsI would have to say yes I love being a commando but its really justmade me a chump with a sissyfied (insert commando weapon here).
Therefore i am intending on changing out of commando with intentions ofreturningas soon as i have a small stockpile of weapons grade powercells (4.5 mil a set is a little much to pay). I will continue to frequent these forums and hope to be back to being a commando as soon as im able =D.
On another note i think it is Bulls#!t that the best loot in the game is limited to 1 or 2 professions to loot (not much balance there)

No.
I've thought about it, I've played with the template planner a lot, I've looked at the advantages of taking a different profession, but I just can't do it. There is nothing in the game like that CLICK...ROAR... of a PFT and seeing half a dozen creatures drop.

not a chance in the ten circles of haydes. its the only profession ive ever been, or will be.
