Sorry for the stupid question, but although I'm a commando, I don't know what a "revenge TEF" means...

There needs to be a way of staying overt once a player choses to go overt. Otherwise without TEF I don't see how battles will last more than a minute.

I think a player should be overt and stay overt untill they crawl back to the recruiter and ask to be covert.

Then you'll have spawn camping, so unfortunately that won't work. The best and simplest way I can think of doing it is simply popping up a dialog box upon respawning the player asking if they want to stay overt or not.

ha I used revenge tef, lotsa times. great way to get back into the battle. But I didn't hunt around looking for the perfect target to murder, I just walked out and blasted the nearest target and got strait back into the fight, I always db and I don't cry when others do it to me either.

there you go, tears of extreme joy spouting from my eyes. No more Revenge TEF, which means I don't have to kill Imps 3 times anymore, I can just do it the first time and be done with it. HOOORAAAYYYY

This is great no more of those lamo's hanging out in the rebel base on rori or in AH just harrasing rebels over and over again.

IF I dont kill you the first time around then I die doesnt bother me in the slightest revenge TEF was lame from the very beginning and only griefers used it.

This is a good thing, now people will also stop mistaking TEF for being in the same group with the people they are attacking..

I am with DeX on this. I don't PvP much, but I've heard this talked about a bit, and since it seems to be an exploit I've never asked. I think it's safe to ask now.

What is revenge TeF ?

I can not wait for it to go live I HATE the revenge TEF. For you guys that are not sure what it is after you clone because you were killed in PvP the person that killed you has a TEF that only you can see and with said TEF you can get the first hit in which gives you a huge advantage. It was used by people to flame them/poison them all the time.

He didnt say he was removing it. He just said it was fixed. I dont remember them ever saying the revenge TEF was a bug.

As tempting as it has been, I've never used the revenge TEF to blast someone with my flamethrower. I hate the revenge TEF, it's nothing but a griefing tool.
