i intend to be a "dabbler", but only because i'm not ready yet to give up becoming a Master Tailor before i even make it there. if i find Master Tailor worth keeping, then i will be happy with my template, which allows me to master ONE commando tree. however, i've not yet determined whether that tree should be the flamethrower tree, or the heavy weapons support tree. anyone have any ideas as to the pros/cons of those two different trees?

All weapons in the Heavy Support have charges and run out of ammo. However you can use them to take out AT-ST's, it's just not very plausible in a PVE enviroment. Going the FT route can injury you if you ever come across something with high heat resists like Rancors. Personally I'm going both and leave the other two trees alone until they make them worth it.

If you Masters want enhancements to make your precious title more worthwhile, then bitch at SOE... not at the players who are just having fun.

Isn't this where we're supposed to come to bitch at SOE? Is there a special forum I don't know about that SOE actually reads regularly?

I honestly don't have an issue with dabblers...the skill point system is obviously there to encourage dabbling. It is frustrating though (and gives me a new respect for Master BHs) that a few peoplegriefing with theadmittedly powerful FT are giving us all a bad name, and frequently that's the 0040 commandos (though I'm sure the majority of the 0040 commandos are honorable players and not griefers).

My ultimate fear being that the FT will be nerfed as a result of the actions of those few. So my issues isn't with "dabbling" as such, it's with griefing.

Glad to see people are starting to come around.
