Nah Judo, I have talked to people who were lucky enough to tag along in a group camping the force crystal cavern as a novice marksman and have holocrons.

I'm not sure if Dark Troopers drop them, I have heard of them coming from Generals and other high ranking NPC's, but not troopers.

It's pure luck, and the way dantooine is right now, going there to specifically hunt them seems a futile effort unless you have a sizeable group.

I played in the force crystal cavern before they started to drop holocrons, those guys are fun to fight, but now its impossible to kill anything there without someone stealing it, so i save myself the frustration.

To Ivoni... Squad Leader is my biggest fear as far as a holocron goes, just pray that your third one doesn't tell you to go master dancer or something like that.. although at least then you could just ride a macro all day long hehe.

Darl Storm troopers do drop holocrons. Thats where I got mine it was actually luck I was getting ready to enter and a strom trooper comes chargeing out and kills this one guy. I flame cone 2 flame singel 2 and run the storm trooper drops dead I loot and a holocron. It was the first time I ever actually hunted for one and with that kind of luck I will never find one again.

Jabba and Rebel theme parks (nym & imp undone)

156 static quest givers to completion. Documented all the broken ones and Imp only ones.

Been married.

Been in a guild.

Put up a house.

Put up harvestors.

Have every achievable badge except current month imp act.

As for buying faction. Good idea.

lol I don't see any reason at all to try and be a jedi. My first one told me to become a ranger, I chucked it into a lake and told it to become a fish, and see how easy it was to change what you are in your heart!

Who LIKES this system of getting Jedi? No one even knows how many you have to do, the speculations are between 3 and 8 aren't they? Might be ALL of them as far as anyone knows... I wonder who gest stuck with politician... -evil grin-

Judo, I'm fairly sure the Holocrons are simply random drops, there are no requirements to get them. Becoming a Jedi (or FSCS) may have specific conditions, but not the hints.

I think it's simply the random numbers. The devs changed the spawn rate last week, and it made a big difference - the day before I saw almost nothing outside 1K from the cities, next day it was packed with creatures, including random force-sensitive types.

In fact, my character is again the opposite of Ivoni I have completed zero major quests (tried talking to Skimmer half a dozen times before giving up), done no theme parks (planning on Rebel one someday), never bought a house, never married, never even *found* those lousy Pirates for a badge (I have looked). I recently joined the Rebellion, but that's about it.

And I found a Sith Holocron on my tenth kill. It's all random...
