They DID nerf flamethrowers! We have to THROW them now for them to work! They are just a big stick! Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
LOL
Hehe, wow...btw atm Im downloading "Patch 15" (aka the CU) while TC-5 gets put up
I came back from my lil incursion in Republic Commando, pumped up with 20 times more than the recomended daily dose of Mandalorian!
On a sidenote...wait till you get inside
(Oh...and I agree too that having a FT as a "throwable" weapon is a bit...err...wrong! lol)
Edit: To reiterate on what some ppl have already said - Damn you guys are fast!

Heavy weapon Def?
Hmm, sounds familar to Asheron's Call 2...each class had a defence to attacks from that class. This could be the same sort of thing. only the class, is based on the weapon, not the person.

Maybe its just me, but it looks like those are three textures for the same model. They have the same layout, but diffrent looks.
I could be wrong though.

Fast?
All we need are the files Starnick.
Reading whats in the files, and extracting tree data, quest information, textures..etc, are so simple, its quite funny. this game was made to be modable
And I'm a sad commando. I had to reinstall a few things on my computer, and lost my DDS addon for photoshop/paintshop, and cant remember where I got it

I know that the underslung carbine was in a much earlier .tre file awhile back...they might have put new files in, but as far as I know, it's just in there as "something that might come down the road when they finish the animations"...the key thing we have to remember is that not everything in the .tre files ends up getting used...sometimes things are put in to "test" the upload/download process or are just "doodles" by designers...

Hehe same here -- but with Republic Commando. I guess my ATI Radeon not only is a fairly old model, its horribly out of date. Spent 2 hours or so tracking down the Catalyst version that I could use to update (and ATI's site was NOT helpful, as they only had the latest version which I couldn't use as It wasn't even supported by my card!) In the end...I got it working, driver's updated and all...
And, I think I may invest in a new Nivedia video card...somewhat sick of ATI...
Regardless, I dislike dev doodles...they tease us so much!
