Over by mos Taike where my harvestors are there are Canyon Krayts, razorbacks, cannibal, dewbacks, marksmen something orotherall sorts of terrible monsters. Come out here and hunt, i call it a good day when the only things that spawn in front of me are banthas and razorbacks cause they are non-aggro.

I soon myself in big trouble when i agreed to join a hunting party by mos taike, someone in the group ran by everyone and said you guys better run, sure enough the guy had taken a pot shot a a Canyon Krayt, LOL.

This might be a stupid question, but how do you tell how many hp or the armor class of something?

I might be wrong but the Hunting skill under Scout will give you more information about creatures when you click "examine".

What's the spawn location?

The Krayt Graveyard is at 6854, 4333. But I have never been there. I just picked that loc up off the net.

Those coordinates are right alright, just follow the canyon a little further to the east to get to the graveyard. Never did see any krayts. Oh well, guess I'll have to get eaten by one of them another day.

we took down 2 ancients wensday they were HUGE, also seen a giant taken. Quite fun and they are not impossible with enough ppl. Surround and confuse.

Psykeman beat me to it, but I'll say it anyway: Kryats are taken down regularly on Scylla. Every Wednesday night, as a matter of fact. Sadly, I was not in on the hunt last week, but I am told that two ancients hit the ground. Even the mighty dragon can be brought down.

Haven't seen one, anyone know if it makes the same yell as in the movie? And does it LOOK like a dragon?

O.K...I'm going to try my best to answer some of your questions listed here about Krayt dragons, as I'm one of the crazy ones who looked for them on my own...

First I'd like to straighten one thing out: Desert Squills have no where near as many hitpoints, life, whatever you want to call it, as Krayt Dragons. I can take down a Desert Squill with no problems at all on my own...It is the Mountain Squill you're thinking of. I don't think even one of those could take on a Krayt...killed me and my greater desert womp rat in three hits combined..and my rat can take on mountain squills...Ahem, now that that's taken care of, yes, Krayts can outrun you in a burst run...I tried it and was very unsuccessful. For location, I can tell you this much, as I'm downloading a patch right now and am unable to start the game to have a look at it: Looking at Tatooine as a coordinate plane, the Krayt Dragon graveyard (i.e., Where Krayts are found) are found in quadrant one (i.e., the northeast, above the 'equator'). It's fairly visible on the planet map as a canyon sort of terrain, because that's what it is.

Really, though, if you want to go see a Krayt Dragon, that's all you'll really be able to do unless you want to lose your life. There is, of course, the exception of all these people saying they've joined large hunting parties and successfully took down the mighty Krayts..Good luck, though, as I'm sure you'd be rewarded quite well in experience points for bringing down such an awesome creature..

Krayts are AWESOME. We took a huge hunting party out to the graveyard tonite (coords: 7160, 4392 for all those who are wondering) and we battled. In total we took down about 5 of the dragons. Each one took about 15 minutes to take down, and we had alot of bh's, ch's and pistoleers. Had we not had some awesome doctors, i doubt it would have been nearly as successful. I would not recommend going out there with any less than 20 skilled people. The trek up itself is really dangerous, and no cake walk once you get there obviously. Dont get to close though because they will take you down in one hit usually. Happy hunting to all. Myself, my hetero-life partner Ganador Noss, and someone with 2 at-sts took out a canyon krayt dragon alone.

next time there's a krayt hunt in SS send Dragov a /tell or e-mail...or both...send a few buke's too cuse im stuck on dantoine collecting resorses.....spent all my money to kepp the harvester's up.....
