AFAIK only 3 Mandolorian helmets and 1 Chest plate has been crafted so far... on all servers!!
and yes, they are all in random colors.

Thats a hoax.
I could have made a screenie like that if I wanted to...and with the "Composite color change option"....I could fake it to look like a clownsuit too. But I won't.
My "mod" battle is not about mandalorian and hoaxing people into believing I got the leetest stuff in my galaxy. I use mods to create a Imperial presence on my screenies, so I can show the devs and people what the game could have looked like.

Imperial scouts ready for a race
Imperial captain waiting for the doctor
Trooper on the job
Officer Ashleigh in her office
Even in his skivvies, Ar'thur shows hie allegiance
omg, how in the world did you do that? why hasn't this become a bigger thing for this game....i didn't even think it was possible!

Basically, the reason for that is because it is completely non-supported by SWG and they would prefer that folks didn't tinker with their files too much for a few reasons. It's not how the game was designed to be played, hence its not supported by SOE or LEC in any way.

The issue isnt it being supported.
The issue is
Look how the game could ahve looked with some effort from the devs?
All my mods are created using clothing/armor/whatever, that allready exists in the game files ready to be worn by people.
See the hat? It fits perfectly on human and zabrak males..(no wonder, since thats the only 3d model they created..no female model etc)
See the scout trooper armor? It's in the files...they just havent bothered to give us a way to get it..Instead they gave us mandalorian armor? **edit**?
See that Imperial coat?..In the files..altho male model only and the hat on it is part of the coat....human/zabrak males should have had a recruiter option of gettting that one allready...
See? These things exist, but they devs just don't get around to making us able to get our hands on them. It's not about "supported"..These mods can have a game crash if done wrong..but they are in no way "permanent" changes to a game..The game is built to load mods actually..the game actually look for mod files before it loads the default files...And mod files are so easy to add/remove, its a laugh, even a computer illiterate can make mods and add /remove mods without harming the game.

Yeah, modding SWG is incredibly easy. My friend edited his files to where he wears mandalorian, carrys around a DE-10, has a droideka and rides around on Emperor Palpatine.

Are you serious about the thing with palpatine?
And I thought a composite -> Mandalorian conversion was a bit over the top... (though I would personally rather see lots of folks in Mandalorian armor more than lots of folks in composite, which I never once saw in a Star Wars film unlike Fett's iconic armor.)

I'd rather see more people in stormtrooper/marine and uniforms *grin*
Want a mod that makes composite to look like stormie armor?

Wow you people wasted time dealing with trying to figure out if it was a hoax or not, didn't you notice the little caption at the bottom right of the screenie that said:
ADDED 1/6/04 in JANUARY, that was before the DWB went live.

Yep. Why it isn't Leia though is beyond me...
