As am I. I was, if I remember, a Master Commando and Master Squad Leader. But I can be mistaken. I maybe did not finish commando when I mastered SL in 1 night. I just remember getting MSL, and dropping it the same day. I was sure that I was master commando, but I could be mistaken.

As for the Unarmed IV prerequisite, We need to keep it. As it stand now, Commando is tied along with Bounty Hunter and Combat Medic as the most costly in Skill Point requirements. What sets us apart is that Commando's prerequisites are ALL combat boxes. Bounty Hunter and Combat Medic can't even say that.
This should mean good things for us!

Oh yeah, and be sure to use some 40ish Citros Snow Cake, hitting far more often helps a bunch too
Tusk Cat Lair Missions on Naboo are another decent way to grind out the Unarmed. Set up a berserk macro and watch the kitties fall. Makea couple grand in the process as well.
